Multiple players in the same game stopping save overwrites
My daughter got Skyrim for her birthday this last weekend and we have all started our own characters on the game. Unfortunately Skyrim overwrites current player saves on top of the two other members of the family's saves. So my other daughter and myself have lost our positions to current saves. Is there a way to have 3 people playing their own characters at different times and have individual saves going at the same time?

You should be able to just go to the menu(Esc/Start) and Save from there. Quicksave can't be divided last I checked, so manually saving over your own file from the menu is the best bet.

You have to create a unique save for each character. The auto saves overwrite themselves as there re only three active auto saves. I usually go into my quest log then to system to create my saves. You can create as many new saves as you want, just make sure that when you save that you save over your own file as they each are numbered by the number of saves for the entire game not for each character.

You could also try this: TES V Savegame Manager [].
