The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Elder scrolls online
I personally dont think it will work, for instance, if sneaking is like the other games, an assassin is screwed in pvp, cus the only way sneaking in cyrodill will work is making them more invisible the better they are at sneaking, cus if an assassin wont become invsible, then they will be seen easily and will be instakilled

Honestly, too many games are going the MMO route these days and as much as I like Elder Scrolls, I'm hoping Elder Scrolls online turns out to be a huge flop so the next Elder Scrolls goes back to the orginal formula. Now if they added an optional co-op (optional not basicly mandatory like most co-ops are today) I don't think I would mind that as it might ocationally be fun to run with some friends through TES rather than by yourself or with computer controlled allies.

That being said, TES is generally a massive game, but as a result there are usually many glitches, poorly designed UI's, and other issues that most of the games have had. However, these issues have been mostly corrected thanks to player made Mods, which the company actully supports unlike many companies who try to swat them down the moment they appear. The biggest problem I see with an MMO is that they won't be able to have this kinda modding comunity which has help keep the game fun even after hundreds of hours of playing.
Yup..I don't believe mods can be fair in online..back in the early 90's I first saw the effects of modded game players....some massive robot damage 1000 just trollopsed through my base and the little s**t just trolled the hell out of me...so Mods aren't a go in ESO.

Why won't it work?...I like the idea of you becoming more transparent the more levelled up you are (in Sneak skill)...that sounds cool. Dunno if that is in the game play tho..

I think these guys know what they are doing with this, however there may be a few changes made along the way Throughout the first 12 months..and I guess we will just have to see how it turns out in that time...

Tru Blaze,,,when you say ''original formula''. Do you mean single player, like TES 6, for example?...you hope they forget about all this massive effort of map making and scripting that they have already done for ESO?....Hmh....Then there's Fallout4...man, I'm definitely with you on making another Elder Scrolls, but I think it may be quite some time IF they do...(They better had..but look what happened to Mass Effect 3....) <shivers>

I think sneak will be in the game, cus lets be honest, is there ever a game without a stealth class?
Oh it will DEFINITELY be in the game, my point is I'm not sure if you will turn invisible but that would be really cool if it was the case..at least I put words to that effect, hope you see that :/

Thanks, but the problem is multiplayer, if you dont turn invisible, then an assassin will never do good in pvp, and we all know thta assassins should be great in pvp

Even if I have had every Elder scroll game..I don't think this will be.....hopefully they follow up this serie too...and not only the online version.
So far they've told us (people not in beta) that there will be stealth, complete invisibility but that it will drain stamina.
I assume the better your sneak skill gets the less it'll drain, maybe?
And there've been rumors about your shadow still being visible so it'd pay off to stick to shadows
Would probably have worked pretty well if it was a first person view only. Sneaking in a multiplayer game like that would actually be pretty interesting, where your sneaking skill only determines how much sound you make while sneaking, and how fast you can move while sneaking. Maybe even how well you blend with shadows. I honestly think that the third person view (even if I have no problem with it in the single player games) will be TESO first, and biggest, mistake.
well sneak should be in multiplayer if they make it but i also would like them to make a type of none pvp rpg so u have a true buddy instead of a stupid bot that gets stuck every five seconds
You get that with Lydia (whoever AI) already LOL!

We only need a multiplayer Skyrim not a MMO, this will kill tis licence ..
If it's gonna be a STUPID 'Press 1 key' to actually attack, I'm going to have to play yet another game that looks like I am having a seziure by hitting every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Key before I have to KEEP LOOKING DOWN TO FIND THE FRIGGIN 1 KEY!!!

I didn't realise how S**T MMO's really are, layout wise...

It's a simple mistake that they have made...you should have to drop out of gameplay by having to look in your inventory...not have your friggin inventory all over your screen and have to sacrifice left mouse to press a load of STUPID icons everywhere! NNNNNGGG >.< How Dumb..

In RL..you wanna look in your bag..you have to stop, look in your bag....RIGHT?
Why can't you have to have this handicap in the game too?...Not the opponrnt's fault or the game's falt you got killed because you were stood in the open, looking in your backpack.

MMO's like DOTA and Champions are S**T. They could be really good games too, but the crap layout makes them, just, unplayable....unless you wanna look like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and hit every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ key on the board till you find the attack key,
♥♥♥♥ me that's dumb....

If ESO is like that, with my inventory all over the screen and actual movement controls turned into secondary functions, because left and right mouse buttons are used up by a dumb screen hud interface....then I'm out....I'm not buying it. And I'll tell them in an e-mail why I didn't buy it.
The reason being, I didn't want to look like I am having a fit over my keyboard, just to simply slash with my sword.....
