I cant decide.
Ok So I am trying to figure out what side to pick. Stormcloaks or Imperials. Don't know why I am confused because I have done both many times. It is more fun with the stormcloaks but the imperials is more like the natural flow to the game. So offer your suggestions I would be very interested in them. Yes I know this has been talked about like a thousand times.

I like the Stomcloaks because the imperials want to chop off my head in the start. Also the Storm Cloaks are fighting for Relegious Freedom the reason that most people that founded the USA came here.

Also the Imperials protect the Thalmore and I hate the Thalmore.

I get a kick every time out of killing that Imperial Captain that said he goes to the block.

I did the imperials the first time I played the game, but since then I have always done the stormcloaks because the thalmor seem more like they are after world domination. I also enjoy playing as a nord much of the time so I feel that my character would choose the side of the stormcloaks since many nords worship Talos. Depending on your characters race might depend on what to choose.

I agree if I were playing an Imperial I would choose the Imperials

Depends on if you want to spend a lot of time in the dump that is Windhelm or the beautiful Solitude.

Empire all the way.
The empire allied themselves with the thalmor to save the people of the empire, splitting the forces of skyrim and empire into two will weaken both and allow the thalmor to more easily conquer both skyrim and the rest of the empire once the war breaks out again and hey we all know the thalmor will start the war again.

The Empire understands compromise for the greater good, the stormcloaks are fanatic idealists who can't see the greater picture.

I would never play as an imperial. I am a nord always have been. I feel most comfortable as a nord. I too hate the thalmor and kill them any chance I get. I also have a problem with the imperials wanting to cut my head off in the beginning. The only problem I have with the stormcloaks is Ulfric. He is an ♥♥♥ hole to anyone that is not a nord. He hates the dark elves and is a very prejudice man.

Thalmors are shot on sight, even though I support the empire.

One interesting thing about this is.... If you read the thalmor deceit's on Ulfric it turns out that he is more under thalmore control then he even knows. There are some interesting implications in that book then I ever knew. They make for an interesting read.

Aye indeed, that one is also one of the reasons I support the empire, if Ulfric can't see he is being played, how is he going to defend the people?

I agree that Ulfric's attitude sucks. It's like he just wants to win the war and become high king, I try to ignore that and think of all the nords that are looking to worship Talos freely. Although if Ulfric became high king I think he would attempt to kick out all races that aren't nords out of Skyrim. I also have the chopping block issue with the imperials, I mean they had nothing on me as far as I know, in fact they didn't even know who I was.

The chopping block thing, I can understand why some are miffed, but the character was caught around Stormcloaks, in the vicinity of Ulric, it's understandable they assume you are with Ulfric.

That's true, you got a point their. But than again your character is in ragged clothing, not stormcloak armor, so wouldn't that be somewhat of a give away that your aren't with them? I get where your coming from though and it does make sense.

Well you could be a newbie trying to earn your way into the stormcloaks..
Essentially the way I see it is, they hey to make a decision, it's a time of war, Ulfric needed to be dealt with, there was enough circumstantial evidence that you were with the stormcloaks and no real evidence to the contrary.

And not like they have a database they can check for criminal records and google them for information, so I think I would have made the same call as the imperials in the situation..

However I do think the captain who did it was a cold ♥♥♥♥♥ who should be shot, though that is one officer out of the entire imperial army.

Yeah I have a lot of problems with that beginning part with the imperials also. A couple of interesting things....1 I think that Alduin saves you...I think he knew you were there. If you pay close attention he shouts but not at you. Just a thought. Then 2nd Does the moot ever meet? I have never seen this or heard about it after the war or before for that matter.
Drunk N' Deadly 28. Apr. 2013 um 6:57 Uhr
The moot never meets, it was intended to be a questline in the game, but was cut from the final product.
