It's 1 GB in size; the mod is too large for Workshop

I citate: "Don't use the NMM to download/install this mod; for reasons unknown it struggles to run it properly. Manual download/installation is your best bet. See below for guidance on how to do this." It is likely that this file has got multiple options, and must be installed in batches. Subcribing to this mod, if it were to be released on Steam, would likely override some files.
Of course, I haven't gotten the mod myself, so I do not know for sure.

It is also stated on the site that the file is RIDICULOUSLY huge; a whopping 950mb of data. I doubt Steam would be able to handle a file like that, especially because it has a ton of separate files. Note that NPCs already implemented in the game will also be modified.

There is the viable option that you could request the creator of this mod to upload fragments of the mod to Steam, and that the player has to install batches of it. The downside of this would be that not all files seem to be standalone, and that the player must subscribe to all the necessary files.

Hope you can do something with my info!
