Here is one of them I found.

Hope this helps.

Also available on Nexus, I haven't tried it (yet) but it's quite popular.
Probably not, or at least it shouldn't. It really only effects the beginning of the story as far as I remember. But I wouldn't install it until you're ready to use it in another game anyway just to be on the safe side.
I hope it doesn't! It looks like an awesome mod! Anyways, thanks! :D
Syclonix's Random Alternative start mod is much safer and uses unimportant start locations and even handles the Helgen quest okay.
Even if you install my Return to Helgen mod and didnt do the early helgen quest the default game has, you can still walk around the edge of Helgen and start the main quest that way even if you cannot get in to helgen.
So it works great, had no problems with it so far.
I read what a modder says and look for some understanding of basic modding issues before I subscribe to a mod.

I do recommend the Character Creation Overhaul too if you use the Random Alternative Start mod. The 2 work well together and bring back some depth to the character creation process that was stripped out of Skyrim for the Xbox crowd.
Other similar mods *are* known to break quests though.
That being said, it should be treated with as much care and precaution as any other mod out there, especially if you're using a lot of different mods at the same time.
But that's just what I think. :)
Here's a suggestion. Stop taking every opportunity you can to slyly insult my work. You don't see me running around these forums taking every half related chance I can to hurl insults in your direction so I'd appreciate it if you'd keep your snide remarks to yourself with regard to my work.
Evidence... okay.... here is one issue off the top of my head, one of several btw.
BLACKREACH is a major quest location used by the College of winterhold and it is also one of your start locations. A place surrounded by major quest features that players are not supposed to be able to reach until they get to it as part of the college quest line.
But you start players down there at level 1 in a game that has a nasty habbit of remembering the state of scripts the first time they run. Not to mention the spawns all being locked to level 1 as a result of the early visit.
That is called fair critisum from an EXPERT QUEST MOD MAKER.
Get used to it...I had too, you made sure of that.
Also on the topic of vindictive behavior. I have no 3 year old 32 page thread (last post is from this year btw) of pure hate on my website attacking you. But you do have such a thread attacking me, attacking my site, my mods and everything else.
You have shown no willingness to leave me be, so do not expect my cooperation any time soon. Especially whilst threads like that exist.
