Sometimes its just not fair.
Struggling with the fact that a bandit chief just wiped out ~75% of my health with one (killmove) hit.

That said, my health is boosted, I'm wearing heavy armor, I'm wearing stoneflesh, and every time I leveled up I chose health over stamina or magicka.

I mean, I know I'm playing Master Difficulty, but that killmove was so weak. I had him at 10%, so I didn't really care if he hit me once. But♥♥♥♥♥♥ I didnt know thats all he needed.

I think the only way to go through Master difficulty without putting a lot of points into smithing first is only to be VERY very careful. - But if I act very carefully, I don't feel like the chose one you know.

Never go to The Reach unless you want to die horribly.
Or visit the Falmer. Yuck.

Yeah on my last playthrough I started in Markarth had a few closecalls with Briarhearts but they didn't get me, cihdna mine did. Nero was a good orc, even if he was addicted to health potions :3

stop trying to duel wield and or wield a 1 handed weapon and use magic at the same time . you wont die if you go get a shield and play with a mud crab for about 1 hour maybe more like 45 minutes if you got the warrior stone . just hold block . nulling more damage with a shield + the armor rating from having a shield helps.

and shield bash and shield charge are nice since you can stop enemy attacks and get in hits when there stagered

Know the feeling. They have those huge hammers that just kill with two strokes or one if your health is slightly down. On Master you really have to use your follower to the utmost and have a few really leveled spells available.

But I'll concede that they probably would keep you alive longer. I've never used them maybe I'll do a sword shield combo on my next go around.

A fight with a Briarheart was the first time I seen myself lose my head in slow motion, it was terrible and bizarre at the same time.

Gotta keep it interesting! This is a very rare occurance, but it can happen. Have better armor to prevent this. I was speaking half truth, my gloves and boots were heavy but I was wearing mages' robes and hood so I wasn't fully armored :3

it's part of the fun of the game , you can still be taken down , if you were "god like' would it really be any fun at all ? enjoy the challenge and don't let your guard down , remember you can always shout "unrelenting force" to knock a foe way back , or freeze him/her solid to buy some time , lots of options

Lol I actually started a playthrough on master and I'm gonna work on making a ninja mage guy. It's ridculous how fast you die compared to expert. heck i thought expert was too easy until i went on master.

I'm actually liking how challenging it is. Not looking foward to trying to take down a blood dragon through. the second one was hard enought with lydia.

Try playing on Legendary.
Learn your weapon range, you don't need a shield to survive but you need knowledge. 2h is longer than 1 h. You backsteb when the enemy swing, then move forward and hit ONCE and ready to backsteb. Dance like the wind.
Knowledge is power. If the enemy block, whack power attack to stagger them. Do not ever use Power attack without the opponent blocking. Well unless you're sure they are easy prey.
Animals usually lunge forward, you can side step and whack their flank.
Fus Ro Dah frequently, it's almost an imba shout.
Heck, once you are around lvl 30ish Legendary is too easy that you don't feel any challenge.

just be wary of game events such as cihdna mine - though if you have shouts it should be easier haha
