The new icons in the top right corner of your game.
They show the current buffs and the remaining duration, nothing to worry about.
I understand they're a bit of an eyesore but I guess you'll have to deal with them for now.

"SkyUI Active Effects.. You can turn them off in the MCM settings if you don't like them.
Had to go hunting for that myself." -stabbykitteh

Hey thanks, I have been worndering what the hell those were that suddenly showed up. I did notice that when you do the Dragon Aspect shout you get 3 or 4 more of them showing the duration of that shout.

They are part of SkyUI; not part of beta Skyrim 1.9

Ah. I figured they were a part of SkyUI. Well this solves it, a sticky would be nice, though.

Also, in the Mod Config settings, I've set them to "small" and "horizontal" instead of vertical. A nice option since they're much smaller and don't obscure your vision.

Always a good thing to know if you can bribe 10% more :P

Ok This is WHAT they are, but does anyone know what each one means? Is there a key somewhere?

Just watch what comes up as you cast different spells. Most'll only have one or two effects, so it's easy to become familiar with 'em.

Well, I guess they realized how terrible the UI is without mods, and just how counterintuitive it is for any PC user. At least they're trying something. I haven't seen it yet as I haven't played in a while, but I'll take a look later.
