I'm having an issue with skyrim
It seems that if I am killed, I act like an essential NPC and just crouch on the gorund until I heal. Any way to fix this? It's not the mods I use, as I have not edited them for 2 weeks and this problem started 3 days ago.

This is a problem because ...?

It ruins the roleplay. Also, if I fall down a chasm and die, I just teleport back to where I was last with full health, yet frozen in place.

have you ever used anny commands to set essentials?
3 days ago,,,, how long ago was it till you died last time? 4 days?

5 days ago. Also, I used one command on the Ebony Warrior to ressurect, set follower (Using a mod) and set essential.

you didnt meaby set yourself as essential?
What happens if you try to remove essentials on you? (save before!)
And do the problem remain if you go back on another save?

‘Frozen in place’ (and I assume not being able to continue the game without a restart) is definitely a problem. I thought you depleted your health similar to an essential follower (e.g. Serana) and simply picked up and went on when you healed.

have you double checked your load order with boss, and tes5 , things can go out of wack, if nothing else go back to a point before the problem started,

I would, it's just that I have made a lot of progress since the last time I died.

I'll try to set myself as mortal again, seeing as the problems I have seem similar to that of being essential.

It's similar to Serana if I get killed either by enemy or by Player.kill, only I have to heal using a potion. Player.kill restores all health and player.setav health 0 does nothing.

Setting myself as non-essential hasn't worked, as I wasn't essential from the start. If I "die", I get a message in the top left saying "You can't continue fighting"

I believe it's started since I had aethernautics installed, so i'm gonna disable it.
EpicPwner 30 oct 2013 à 3h17
Aethernautics isn't causing it.

Any of the mods you using been updated recently? It still sounds like a mod problem. Either load an earlier save that you know was ok; then see if it does the same thing. Or, stated unchecking mods to see which one gives you the problem.

I didnt meant that you would go back and play at the other file and lose your progress,
Just go back since before the problem and see if the problem is still there,
if its still there, its most likely a problem with a mod, or a serious problem with the gamecode.
if the problem is gone it might not be that serious.

I have heard that some bugs are stored in game data in a way that its present in all files, and thats bad.
