Skyrim on a Tablet PC and Laptop
I'm getting my screen on my laptop fixed so I'm investing on a cheap Tablet PC with windows7 desktop. I'm level 47 and have over 450 save files so how would I be able to tranfer them to that PC/tablet? I've done backups before for skyrim but I don't know anything about restoring and stuff like that.

there is two ways you can do it. the frist way is to use a thumb drive and copy all data to the new tablet pc. Make sure you copy it right due to it will not read right . 2nd was is you can do tranfure the data using wifi.

Before doing that, are you certain the tablet's specs meet the requirements of the game?

I beleive that skyrim saves are cloud synced, so in theory all you would need to do is download steam to the tablet, and then log into your account, it'll take a while for the tablet to download them though I guess...

How does cloud work? Just save all the files to cloud and then restore them to the tablet.cp?

Doing it by wifi is a less risky way to do it right?

Everytime I quit skyrim my steam client spends a few mins syncing which I believe means it's updating the new saves in the 'cloud'. Beyond that you'll need someone with more techy knowledge.

Unless you found a huge beefed up tablet, you wont be playing skyrim on a tablet

You may be able to play it on the lowest quality settings. IMHO I'd rather wait until you had access to a proper gaming rig as killing the visuals would kill the game for me.

I might get the lovono android tablet pc. But I don't know if skyrim can run on android let alone restore the save files from google docs or dropbox. If windows if my only option I'll invest in the HP envy x2, seperate memory in the keybord dock.

I think mac and windoze are the only options for steam, and you can't play skyrim without steam, well not legally anyways. And if you use steam then you won't need dropbox or google doc.

to be honest I just do not see how a tablet even has the performance requirements to run skyrim.

Go to your pc store, ask to log onto
http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
with their version of tablet, run the app. It will tell you yes, no, or under what limitations it may be able to be run. Good luck, but it may not work imho.

Skyrim can not run on Android nor on any arm based platform.

I'm still trying to understand why you're getting a tablet to play Skyrim on.

I don't want to believe that anyone could think buying a tablet to play pc games on would be a good idea.
