Do you use cheats or not

I do not use cheats as 1)I find it imorale way to play a game the way it wasn't meant to be played 2)Being god/lord of the game get's so boring after awhile 3)None of the cheats are very interesting.

TGM, and only for transmutation (I'm going to upgrade my ore one way or another, so I might as well save myself 10 minutes of standing in the same spot, casting and waiting)

If someone wants to cheat to play their game or enjoy it that way it's fine not all are great players even after over 2000 I am not. But I am a Senior not able to keep up with you young ones.

I play with no cheats now but boy I used them at the start, I was dying so fast I had to.

I have talked to people who have used them to get all 75 acheivment points but that is their choice.

A game is to be enjoyed. Most of us join the Dark Brotherhood and kill people what is a cheat beside that LOL.

I dony use cheats, I do however use commands. I often use resurrect because its just a pain when npc getts killed in anny random vampire/dragon attack.
I allso sometimes like to do player.placeatme and spawn in some Thalmor to fight in a 50 to 1 battle.
I Think its a more fun way to levling than to just fight bandits and giants.

some of console commands I agree would cheats. God mod one just locks your current stats meaning they cant change period which has plus and minus. Which means you cant level anything not even advskill command would work. There is command that makes it so you cant die but doesnt stop you from runing around headless. I mainly only use the command line to fix buged quests such as moveing to next stage so the npc would stop standing in one spot and etc. Moving npcs where they are pose to be cause they got lost in another town.

@margonian you can download a mod to stop the city vampire attacks cause they are so damn annoying would save your troubleing ress command all the time. Its better to move the npc than use placeatme cause placeatme may make clones of the npc instead of moveing npc.

I usually use the giants outside whiterun to lv up on cause there is spot where they cant hit you and can level all magic except destro to 100 easy in few hours. If need armor and block I just let them hit me.

I think you mixed my strategi up a bit, I use resurrect on dead npc, but use placeatme to spawn in Thalmors just for training purpose.

I occasionally use showracemenu to change my hair and war paint, and I've used tcl a few times to deal with glitching into a rock or something.

I use the console command to resurrect the NPCs I deem are necessary, Adrienne and Alvor mainly and to put my wife in Tavern Clothes.

I do not agree in all cases one post the guy said he used tgm for oblivion and skyrim and enjoyed the game. You can actually by bumping your health to 4000 or so and as long as you do that you can do the Magica and Stamina also. I know a guy that did that at the start of a game.

I have talked to many from Germany and other European countries and some from the US that will use cheats. I have one friend that has a strict set of rules if they break one of them it is start over.

You guys are keeping me young.

This is a game my friend there is no morality you kill people in the DB, Pick Pockets and turn into a Werewolf there is no Morality. The game is an escape from morality.

I said I find it imorale. I play how i play. Noone plays the same. Morality is literally what i live for as such if i found such a different way to live and i did i would be dead already

Then you think it is alright to slaughter people in a game but it is immoral to cheat. As someone that is 61 I find that amazing. But in all honesty if you feel it wrong to cheat then you should not cheat.
