GAME CRASHES

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if it is typical for Skyrim to just suddenly crash. I have seen in some of the forums that this may be a glitch of Bethesda's. I will be playing along and just suddenly, wham, the game crashes to the desk top. I have only about 60+ mods and I use the nexus mod manager to place my mods and BOSS & TESedit to clean any dirty edits. I also use SKSE. So I ask is there something I have not done right or is it as I asked, a problem with Bethesda.

You might want to get BOSS. It helps with your load oder and prevents your game from crashing all the time. Here is a link for BOSS http://code.google.com/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/. And i dont know what kind of Mods you have?. But you might want to download Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) here http://skse.silverlock.org/. A lot of Mods require it.

I have and use BOSS, TESedit, SKSE and nexus mod manager to load them properly, I have mods from both Steam and nexus. That should not be a problem. I have and use FINIS and have and use FINIS generator for the animation mods as well. It still crashes. It just did, just now.

How many Mods do you use? and when exacly does it crash? What are your specs of your Rig? You migh be going over the memory limit. Depending on the mods you have. Check out CTD and Memory patch ENBoost here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649/? and follow every instuction to the tee.

As I said in my first post I have only about 60 mods, The game has been working well untill just recently, I have a dell computer that I had built just for this type of ganing. When I install a new mod I run all the proper utilities to make sure it's going to be loaded properly and cleaned if nessisary, I'm not a super techie though, I do not know what CTD is but I have read that some folks have more than 200 mods. I will try it.

I run the Game flawlessly with over 100+ Mods. Using an AMD GPU and Graphics card.

Yep. No Problem.

Same as boogyman1421 but with 155 mods and no issues with Intel and Nvidia 650 GTX.

I just started having this issue too. I run two mods. Not sure what the issue is, haven't had this problem before today. Strange.

It is a mod that is the cause, deactive all your mods start a fresh game get out of helgen and save. Use that save and add a couple of mods on at a time and run game from that save.
If OK exit game and add a couple of more mods and repeat process you will find the one causing it. but keep doing it until you have completed all mods there could be others. Once you have it running remove all old saves as they will have that crash in them.
You say you clean them, did you make a bash mod with WYRE BASH this helps merge ESM's and ESP's.

@Jela'n. You must be one of the lucky few. Skyrim has problems. Especially with Intel Processores and Invidia Graphics Cards. You just have to know the ins and outs of your .ini file and any Mods your working with.

I do try my best boogeyman1421 to look after this game,3550+ hours invested in it. and only a couple of issues in the past have been due to mod conflict's.Apart from that it's a very stable game with all my mod's working well.Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe I'm very fussy what goes into my game..
