Real Shelter stops my game loading.
I thought I would share this with everyone, just in case someone has a similar problem but hasn't identified the cause yet.

I currently have 62 mods installed for my version of the game, so I am always really careful when adding a new one incase it causes a conflict. I have just added Wet & Cold and Real Shelter to my mod list tried to load the game to test them having used BOSS to verifiy the load order.

My game immediately crashed to desktop after the initial Bethesda flash screen.

I tried unflagging both mods on the load list and the game then loaded normally, and by process of elimination I isolated to to Real Shelter. If that mod is in my load list the game crashes.

It may not be the mod itself but a combination of it and another mod I have already installed and tested, but according to the author it should work with Wet & Cold, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Just thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone else track down an issue.

are there any requiremnst for real shelter mod? maybe you are missing something

Well the mod was download from Steam Workshop here:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=161161409&searchtext=real+shelter

The author says it's compatible with Climates of Tamriel which I have installed.

The full compatibility statement is reproduced below:

---- COMPATIBILITY
There are no known conflicts, but Real Shelter may not support mods that change the position of sheltered buildings or ones that make their own weather unless listed here. It is reported compatible with the following mods:
- Hearthfire home towers (DLC not required)
- CLARALUX
- Climates of Tamriel (doesn't support CoT Lite or CoT Winter Edition)
- Enhanced Lights and FX (load before Real Shelter)
- Frostfall
- Immersive Skyrim Thunder
- More Rain and More Snow
- Namaof's Watchtower
- Open Cities (load before Real Shelter)
- RCRN
- Realistic Lighting Overhaul (ver 4.0.7 +)
- Supreme and Volumetric Fog
- Supreme Storms
- Tropical Skyrim
- WATER and Pure Waters
- Wet and Cold

The only mod I have installed that might conflict and isn't listed above is Real Rain, although that mod specifically states it's compatible with CoT too. I may just check that by switching off Real Rain and trying Real Shelter again.

Ok! tried that and unloading Real Rain doesn't help, as soon as I invoke Real Shelter the game fails to load.

The only other thing it might be is some of the Town enhancement mod's. The author mentions that the mod doesn't like buildings being moved around, and I have several mods that improve towns and taverns.

++++++
Ok! I switched off all my town and tavern enhancement mods and tried it again but it still fails on loading, so I can't work out what if anything it is incompatible with but I clearly can't play the game with it loaded.

Which is a shame as it sounded like a pretty cool mod.

I believe this is something I came across today. Turns out Real Shelter doesn't support CoT Lite, which is the only version of CoT currently available through the steam workshop.

Edit: I should apologise about the age of this thread, but in case someone else has this problem I figure it might help them out.

I think you are correct it. I happened to be using CoT too, so it looks like we will just have to get wet standing on our porches.

The problem you have is the Real Shelter is in the wrong spot in your load order. Run BOSS to help sort that out. And read the descriptions closely - many times one mod will explicitly tell you to run another before or after it to avoid conflicts.

Did that at the time, and it made no difference in my case.
