why is dlc so expensive
Think about the people that bought the game and don't own the DLC yet. You're asking them to pay 22.50 for all the dlc when its on sale, where the legendary edition is less than that. So I can buy the game and the dlc for cheaper than the game.
I'm 99.9999% sure the game took more time to make than the DLC.
The only options are to buy the DLC or the Legendary Edition. No "upgrade pack" or whatever that makes it at least enticing to get the DLC.
Where my personal feelings come into it are that I played Oblivion a lot and only played the first few minutes of Skyrim once the world opened up and I could play with mods, then I got bored and never played again because I just wasn't feeling it.
For me, someone who still hasn't even really started playing, I feel like I should have never bought the game and waited until the GOTY Edition or whatever, because right now I feel like I got screwed by the mighty wiener of DLC ruining a game and making you constantly feel like you're missing out on content, and then treating you like you never even bought the game charging you for the game all over again if you want the cheaper bundle with all the DLC.
Its ridiculous, and giving DLC a bad name when Valve is doing a remarkable job enhancing their games and providing income for many fans. (modders making money on Nexus and not on Workshop is another conversation entirely)
