Do you think this game has a bad story? (Or any elder scrolls game)

A group of individuals over at the Fallout New Vegas steam forums seem to think so.

I was just wondering what real fans of the game have to say about this apparently its "common knowledge" that these games have bad stories.

If you would kindly list the reasons why think the story is bad or good please do so please be descriptive.

I think the story is well done but the ending was kinda meh though

I didn't like the ending myself either but it had to be something like that to keep the game open for exploration after it was finished.

I was only speaking from past experiences not exactly your yourself I just feel personally a few of you just dislike alot of the games aspects because of the fact its a Bethesda game...

I personally dislike the game because I think it's a bad game. If the game was identical, but developed by... Gabe freakin' Newell himself, I'd still say it's a bad game, despite being a dirty Valve fanboi.

There are plenty of absolutely legitimate reasons for disliking this game that have nothing to do with dear Todd Howard.

I've had those past experiences too, many many times. Stuck in their old ways these people are.

Just don't say that on the vegas forums...Those are the ONLY forums (Excluding forums filled with constant fanboys and girls fighting like WarZ and such) where there were so many snobby and just really really innacurate or bias responses. Having negative opinions towards a bad game (imo) doesn't make you close minded. You're close minded if you can't accept other peoples opinions and you come here seeking for acceptance.

I don't care if you have negative opinions towards something I would just like to hear a good accurate reason that can't be fixed with mods preferably.
