I personally prefer the mouse and keyboard, but that's just because I prefer PC gaming to console gaming, and with Pc gaming, comes great controls, such as a keyboard. Plus, you can change which keys do which, and bind new ones, as for Gamepad, it's not happening

'PC Gaming' doesn't preclude the use of a gamepad, take a look at the 'Big Picture' button (or at games' specifications where you see full and/or partial controller support).

Nor is key binding exclusive to keyboards and mouses.

Using a gamepad in a living room environment (aka couch + tv) is almost mandatory unless your goal is to develop carpal tunnel syndrome :use:

Lol, +1, I also got one, but for my pinky and ring finger. Hand was numb for like 3 months.

Prefer gamepad relaxing in a armchair in front of TV, sitting at a desk in front of a keyboard is too much like being at work

at first I couldn't get used to it at all and was longing for a keyboard, now its second nature and the keyboard instead feels "wrong"

Can't play with a gamepad - 30 years of PC gaming means the reflexes are all wrong. Plus, I hate that dual thumbstick ♥♥♥♥ where one is for direction and one is for facing.

I prefer mouse and keyboard.
ever tried to type a console command with your controller?
can you open steams overlay with a controller? -maybe
i do much other stuff on steam while playing, hard to do with a controller.
also i would miss my extra buttons for windows media player :D

it might be more to others liking to play with a controlller because of X reason, still ist up to you.
go ahead, try mouse&keyboard as well as controller. given some time, you will find the one that suits you more.

you may need extra tools for your controller mapping, the nexus has what you need:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com
just search for controller and you will find tons of tools/mods to help you out.

Personally, if I'm using a bow, I'm aiming, so it has to be mkb. I tried using the controller at first after it was actually useful to do so for Arkham but as soon as that aiming reticle came up, that was it.

360 Controller is the way to go! Sku UI mod let you group 8 or 9 weapon/armor sets! Sit on your couch, have a beer and play with a controller... haha

I usually prefer playing games with the gamepad, but first-person-games I have to play with mouse and keyboard. Aiming with an analogue stick always feels wonky.

With games such as Skyrim, i will always prefer a mouse and keyboard. It just feels more versatile when it comes to certain things.
