Skyrim will not install
I am trying to install the game but it keeps telling me "invalid install path" Steam support keeps telling me validate files but the game isn't installed so I can't do that.

What path did it suggest? Does it create the path? Does the path exist?

Do you have adequate disk space?

On my system, Skyrim (tesv.exe) is installed in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim

Go to games top of page and activate game then see what happens

If you have the Skyrim folder located where Alembrik said, you can delete the Skyrim folder (inside common) and try downloading again.

*shrug* Who knows?

I'm having the same issue, have you figured out to fix it?

No, it just randomly worked one day. Hope the same happens for you. If you do find a way to fix it be sure to post it so others can get help.
