The game STILL crashes!
Just when I think the game is stable with the mods I have, it crashed when I scrolled through the tanning rack items. Now I haven't tried again to see if it happens regurlarly but can Skyrim ever be stable or will it always crash? Here's my mod list order if anyone can suggest a reorder that would be better let me know please.

it crashed when I scrolled through the tanning rack items.
That means your VRAM from your GPU is getting full; thus crashing.
Uninstall some graphical mods and try again
but can Skyrim ever be stable or will it always crash?
Oh it can be very stable; but you need to realize, the more mods you add, the more unstable it is likely to become. If it crashes too much for you, then uninstall mods.

I got 4gb of GPU RAM, I've never seen it use more than 2.5gb.

If you crash in any crafting menu or when scrolling through your inventory in a chest or to equip a mannequin, try using the arrow keys to scroll with instead of the mouse.

First, it will always be unstable. It's a Bethesda game. Second, if you are getting repeatable crashing while scrolling through a crafting station, then there is an issue with one of the meshes in that list. Can you pinpoint which item it is crashing on?

I scrolled through again 1 item at a time and it didn't crash. I tried again scrolling fast repeatedly and still no crash. This was in the Leather menu for tanning rack.

Okay, so it may have just been one of those crash moments then, and not an issue with any mesh files from a mod. That's cool. Well, it's not cool that the game crashes, but cool that it's not a mesh issue. Have you run your setup through Wrye Bash, or BOSS to see what they say about your mod load order? If not, go ahead and do that. Wrye can make a bashed patch that will make any edited leveled lists compatible, which is handy. Other than those two, just make sure you manually save (at least two separate saves per character while playing) before entering interior areas to cut down on the loss of play time when it inevitably crashes on entry. Auto saves are fine to leave on too, regardless of what some people say on the net. The bugginess comes from being a Bethesda game. They made CTD a household term, and all of their games are buggy... most far worse than Skyrim is.

I noticed you have a esp above 2 esm files. SMPC is tagged with an esp, shouldn't it be sitting below the 2 esm's just below the esp
Mr. Dave 29/dez/2013 às 21:13
Yup. All .esm files should be above the .esp files.
Emton 29/dez/2013 às 21:31
Ok well I moved all the esm files up, including the patches so I'll see how it goes
