this is getting... ridiculous.
dragons.... dragons everywhere.
whenever i enter a town, theres a dragon now.

anyone have a console command to despawn dragons? being a vampire, without decent weapons, i really -really - dont have the capacity to deal with an army of dragons right now.

I once played throught most of the game before going to Dragons reach. That way dragons never show up at all, until you do that tower quest and kill the first dragon.

are you using mods that mess with dragons? If yes, check that first

i was - most dragons. but that doesnt kick in until after you visit the greybeards. ive already removed it when the dragon seige started, though. so i dont think its an issue...

there are mods that probably add in random Dragons everytime you visit a hold. Check to make sure there aren't conflicting issues occuring between the time you delete the associate mod along with vertifying the invalid loose files that cause more to spawn where you are.

the thing is im not actually using any mods like that anymore. you think verifying would help, though? the only dragon mod i was using was most dragons....

There 'are' mods that lower the number of dragons aswell, and generally a lot of mods that change dragons up.

If you say you used a mod that increased the number of dragons, and then -removed- it and continued with the same save, then it's quite possible that scripts and such from that mod are still running even if you disabled it. You will probably need a new save. Removing mods during a play through is almost always a bad idea.

awh.... thats always a bummer. but yeah... i was planning on doing just that; restarting with a spellsword argonian lycan. because the dragon seige is getting ridiculous-er >.> dragonbridge has eight dragons.

I think it has to do with where you are on the main quest line.

At one point I was fighting a dragon at least twice a day(skyrim time) and have some humorous stories of chasing dragons all across the province when they ran from me.

After I reached a certain point they stopped appearing though or maybe it was because I killed them enough :P

Using the same save-file that once had that mod installed?
Then most likely [if the mod had scripts], the mod is still present in your save-file. Either load a save from before you installed the mod, or start a new game [or re-install the mod].
