have to have all the same mods/dlcs running on your laptop as you do on your pc

If you unsubscribed (or, I think, deactivated) a mod this message comes up. Did you on your PC and does your laptop link to Steam?

I do not use any mods and never have. how do i know if it links to steam?

Your save files record all of your patches, updates, mods, and settings. If you remove a mod, downgrade to a outdated update, or change your ini setting, you will get this notice. It basicaly informs you that something has changed. Sadly, it does not tell you WHAT has changed.

Moving from one PC to another, any number of thing may have changed. Best of luck.
No mods, saved over another save will change contents. Just verify your game just in case and start from last save.
This is usually when you change information in the game or remove a mods just press OK when saving and should be alright.

I had this problem a year ago as well, then when i pressed OK it removed all my dlcs from my game, which ruined everything.

Perhaps there is a DLC you loaded on your main PC< that you forgot to load on your laptop?

Well i just pressed download on skyrim, and when i right click and press "show dlcs" every single one of them shows up... so i have no idea what to do.. :/

The DLC tab just tells you what DLC you own; not which DLCs are loading.

Click the Data Files tab of the Skyrim Launcher, and ensure the DLCs have a check next to them

if you remove a mod you get that warning upon loading a game , depends on the mod and how you removed as to what will happen , sometimes it's best to go indoors and sleep for 4 days then make a new hard save (not a quick ) exit game then load your new cleaned save so the assets can load and reset , i always hit ok , some script heavy mods will break the game if you uninstall them , read the mod authors readme on uninstalling and follow his/her instructions on how to do it so you dont break the game ,
if you have skse you can add the line
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 under general in the skse.ini , (it's in the skse folder ) that removes unneeded scripts every time you launch the game
how do i fix i just update it and message just apered when i start to load

This is one old tread and you should not have necro it.
Create one new tread and we can help you.

In that you need to tell us more, and dont play on whit the save that says it misses content.
