Game launching problem...help!
Well short story is I redownloaded Skyrim, put my DLC on, installed SKSE, added 1 collection of mods (have around 147 mods now), placed the load order properly and now everytime regardless if it's the shortcut of SKSE or the steam way to play Skyrim, it will show bethesda logo and then crash to desktop without any errors. Have spent over 4 hours trying to figure out wtf...help me plz!

Got the same issue and it was fine yesterday so don't see what changed
I've encountered this problem multiple times....When this happens to me, it is always the mods I am using. So, it may be the mods you are using (If you're trying to load Skyrim with 147 mods). Mods can conflict with each other and cause the game to crash to desktop (depending on which mods you have).

Are you trying to load Skyrim with only the DLC? Or are you trying to load Skyrim + DLC with mods?

If you are loading Skyrim + DLC with 147 mods, it could be that mods are conflicting, which can make the game crash. If this is the case, you've got to make sure that mods are not conflicting.

When the game crashes to desktop after the Bethesda logo, I always uninstall mods backwards. For example, the most recent mod I installed, I will uninstall that mod and try to load my game. If the game loads, I know that the mod I recently installed is conflicting with another mod. If the game continues to crash, I continue to uninstall the most recent mods I've installed.

EDIT: GRAMMAR/STRUCTURE

Ok yea i have seen ppl say that to do the 'trial by error' way. But for one it's 147 mods...secoundly the mods we are using are from 1 collection, which TONS of other ppl are using and are not reporting this problem, so it cant be the mods conflicting with each other...also, i dont want to 'uncheck' them to make them not load bc then it throws them at bottom of load list...i have to have these in a particular load order per author and it took about 2 hours to place them this way with the stupid load screen up and down arrows...that was retardedly dumb.

For a start load order is the first fix in a line of fixes.
These fixes are your stuff ups in loading mods.
1. Did you read what modders wrote about their work
2. Did you make sure these mods don't need other mods to work properly
3. Did you load mods in correct order as modders's directions
4. Did you have to change ini files in C:drive or another extentions
5. Did you where mods can clash with other simular mods
6. Did you know that UFO mod must be loaded before any follower/NPC mods
7. Did you even test compatibility of mods a few at a time
8. Did you using NMM override other mods
9. Did you remove all saves and back ups as they hold allinfo good and bad
10. Did you not read or learn from the pinned topic at top page before endeavouring to implode your game

Yea i know the load order was important. But the author of the collection said to place them in a particular order, which we did. Then he tells you which mods to unsub from depending on what expansion you do/dont have. So the final 147 mods from within that collection should work, so the order nor the mods themselves should be an issue bc im not the first one to use this collection.
Unfortunately the load order is mostly right. It puts the mods in order but what it doesn't do is tell how you must load them in the game.
My advice deactive them all if in NMM you can deactive workshop mods in plugin page but deactivate nexus mods in the mod page.
As I don't know what mods you have on it is best deactivate all, then verify game (in case of missing data) and start from new (make sure all saves are deleted they hold all informatiom good or bad).
Play through Helgen and svae then add a couple of mods and play from that save if OK exit without saving and repeat process. It will take time but you will find the culpits and can remove them.

Yea Im not using nexus mods, but using the normal data files loader from the game. My bro said screw it and disabled them all and the game works with just dawnguard and the 3 resolution pakcs activated. He's now turning on the visual/texture packs and audio packs and so far with around 10-20 mods on the game is loading.

One thing to add, the author said to put them in a certain order, but when I ran boss and it showed some labled as 'bash' and 2 where 'yellow flagged/warnings' and boss also rearanged ALL the load order...it says it did this in junction of master list...this is like spanish to me XD.
Remove the warning ones may corupt your game.
As I said before some things are straight forward let BOSS to its thing.
Just what mods are the ones with yellow warnings
