Bethesda, please make a discount for your DLC's at 75% too!
I'm waiting for a discount like this for a long time, but it never happened. Right now you can get the Legendary Edition with all the DLC's almost at the same price as the Dragonborn DLC and thats just a big middlefinger to all the loyal customers who bought the game at full price. Also the maingame without the DLC's is cheaper then the Dragonborn DLC, thats ridiculous. Please Bethesda do something about and everyone who agrees please share your support.

EDIT: For those Fanboys and Trolls out there who think i'm beggar and say its a good idea to throw your money out the window, here is a quote from a post i made here to make things more clear for you:

"The thing is i buy a lot of games here on Steam and the DLC's for those games as well and i'm always look for the best discounts. If i would spend my money by your guys logic then i would really have to go outside and beg for food because i would loose a lot of money. I would have never bought these games i own now if it wasn't for these discounts and this DLC is no exception, 13 euros for a freaking DLC is way too much also a 33% discount is always a no go for me because it most likely gets cheaper. How can you be ok with this what Bethesda is doing here? Seriously. You guys probably bought the Legendary Edition anyway (same price as for the DLC alone btw.), so why are you guys complaining if we, who bought the game early, want a good deal too? C'mon guys!"

This is also the last time i buy any Bethesda game early.

EDIT2: The first one got closed for some reason, i don't know why. Maybe someone doesn't like opinions?

EDIT3: There is a lot of ignorance going on in this topic, some don't seem to get it so i make it even more clear, also READ BEFOR COMMENT, thank you. Here is another quote from myself because i'm tired of repeating myself:

"But what you don't seem / don't want to get is that the Legendary Edition has the same price as the Dragonborn DLC alone, thats simply not fair. I know if i buy the game early then i have to pay more but do you really think thats a reason for punishment just because i wanted to play the game early?"

And another one from the topic befor which got closed, this one is also important:

"The thing is i'm not that big of a fan of Skyrim, still i wanna own the complete game someday for mods like Skywind or if i wanna revisit the game. If this is something you really wanna play and looking forward to play for a long time (only if its good of course) then i don't see a problem to pay fullprice for a game or DLC, i will probably buy Dark Souls 2 at launch too for fullprice because thats a game i really wanna play. But i'm not that desperate to play the Dragonborn DLC to pay a price like this and seeing the Legendary Edition for the same price is just a kick in the nuts. I can wait, but how long is the question."

If you read all of this then you're a champ. ^^

All I can say is that I waited 2 years to get Skyrim GOTY/Complete/DLUX/Legendwhatever at $20 and that's a steal for the whole kit. Patience is a virtue and the DLC vs. GOTY system has been going strong for at least a decade now--you've had time to learn how it works.

You should read befor comment my friend.

I read the entire post and was countering this line specifically:

"This is also the last time i buy any Bethesda game early."

To which I responded: You should have known how the system works already, that a GOTY version would be released later with everything packaged at the most reasonable cost. You pay more to "buy a bethesda game early," obviously. And because so many people already own the base game, you think maybe they're -banking- on the fact that people now want DLC and will pay more for it? People like yourself?

lol these threads amuse me. If people are buying them for higher prices then the company has no incentive to lower the prices. This is a business after all. Bethesda is not a non-profit organization. Actually, it's not even Bethesda that's selling it I don't think. Bethesda is a subsidiary of ZeniMax media that was hired to develop Skyrim and the DLCs. Bethesda isn't even working on TES Online except for maybe consultation in preserving the lore.

At least it's a complete game. Take your anger to some Early Access game's board where it's deserved.

**** DayZ.

*eye roll*
In all your rambling (before your topic got locked) about how you're being totally wronged, you never actually explained why Bethesda should give you more of a discount than they already are. Other than because you don't want to spend $2.50.

My only concern is whether I will end up with two different Skyrim games in my library. I already own the base game, and am interested in buying the DLCs - but having two copies of Skyrim in my library seems redundant and messy. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you.
Jouchebag Dec 26, 2013 @ 6:22pm
Won't happen. There is no LE Version of Skyrim for the list. You either have the DLC or don't.

In fact, just letting the game auto-update has already technically updated your game to Legendary. You just dont have the DLC.

Sorry to hear that, bro

Create a second steam account. Then buy the legendary one. I have the base on this account but can now play all of the dlc's on my main or my secondary account. And you could have a different class of character going also.

What was the point of doing that?

Sorry but this whole thing still sounds like entitlement theory to me. Those are the prices. If you think its worth it then buy it. If not, don't. The End.

What manner of foolishness is this? You can have several characters going on with just one account.

a) Store characters to different saves. You see character information from a save notes before overwriting it.

b) Exclude saves from Steam cloud and you can have several intact sets of character saves. I didn't destroy my assassin or mage save files for my current character, but manually moved them to different folders. You can replace contents of those folders whenever you like
