DLC purchased from Amazon - not working
I purchased DLC (Hearthfire & Dragonborn) today from Amazon. Plugged in the activation codes and Skyrim updated itself. When I look under DLC for Skyrim it shows both are there as "Retail" purchases.

However, my DLC mods will not work (BOSS says DLC is not installed) and looking at the Steam store says I do not own the DLC. Googled for help in figuring out what happened but not coming up with anything useful.

Help!

EDIT: Verified cache and found an issue. It's now downloading an update - fingers crossed.

I've been waiting to install the game when I had all DLC. I bought only Dragonborn (75% off).

After putting in just the code from Amazon (didn't download from them), I get the "You already own..." message on the store page for that DLC. Does that mean this should work when I install the game?

I see you may have fixed it; but the rule of thumb is to always restart STEAM if a problem is encountered.
WHen the Dragonborn DLC first launched, it required people to restart their client before it would download; perhaps that trick still applies

Can anyone confirm if the Amazon digital download of Dragonborn can be redeemed through Steam? I'm on my mobile :/

I was able to get it to work. Had to restart Steam, verify cache and then update my load order but it works now!
