Reinstall the latest driver, verify Skyrim's cache, try again.

Specs?

Don't listen do brother, he is wasrting your time. Installaing latest driver usually only works if you still use the driver on the cd when you first installed your gpu. Verifying the cache will never effect stuttering, it will only redownload files if you lost them. Do not use that option ever for modded games as it will erase any mods you have.

This game is a tough pickle, I have stuttering too with no graphics mods what so ever, just a few add on mods. I run a gtx 780 4.7 ghz i5 3570k, 8gb memory, and the game is on a raid 0 array with 2 ssd's. No mods have fixed it for me. The only thing you can do to alieviate it is to get an ssd, or if you prefer not just do not limit the fps, turn vsync off with ipresentinterval=off and let the game run max fps.

Verifying cache DOES NOT erase or touch any mod files. It cant even detect that you have mod files, unless your mods affect one of the vanilla files which is incredibly rare.
It only touches the exact files that you get when you first download the game.

I was aware, and sorry for that, but I really hate misinformation like that, and wanted to clear that up just in case other people jumped into the thread and believed it.
Glad you got it fixed though :)

Same thing happens to me. Posted a thread about it in Help &tips
Weird I never had stuttering with skyrim. And I use over 180 mods and 30 or 40 of them are for GFX and I use a AMD FX 8320 BE 4.4Ghz DDR3 8gb1600mhz and a MSI gaming twin frozr gtx 750ti 2gb OC. I get 60fps stable and with vsync off I get 100fps+.
Glad you fixed it tho.
