Is Shor Odin?
For those that may not recall who Shor actually is, He is is basically the God of war and Death. He is the one who normally would be chilling with the fallen heroes that reside in Sovngarde (except apparently, he is so damn shiny, you can't see him). I believe that this particular deity is an amalgamation of several Norse gods but most prominently Odin. Also like Odin, he plays a significant role in the creation of Nirn (granted Odin took Ymir's corpse and made the Nine worlds out of them, and Shor is basically Ymir's in this case) Shor is also the chief god associated with the land of the dead, is the main god who is revered by the Nords of Skyrim, and has been known to aid the Nords in a number of battles (Odin has been credited for winning many battles, Shor aides the Nords in the battles for Red Mountain. This is just the conclusion I have made and I am fully aware that the Gods of the Elder Scrolls are basically a combination of every god of every major/minor religion ever, but what do you think?

No, Shor is Shor, Odin is Odin. All of the Daedras/Aedras and Gods from the Elder Scrolls series are purely themselves even though some may have similarities with real world Gods or Godesses.
But wouldn't you agree that many bare similarities to certain gods or even whole pantheons in particular?

This^
But yes, most everything in modern fiction is a copy of or inspired from other works/stories. Originality is nigh extinct.

Well, in a fantasy setting like the Elder Scrolls, the Gods are just there to serve their purposes in everything but name. How do I have Vikings in a non historical game? Give them a set of Gods to worship that are pretty much the Norse Gods. It's not bad, especially when you can look into the cultural inspirations behind certain gods.

Shor is hardly, Odin. He is another version of Lorkhan: the only god with Akatosh to appear in every mythos around Nirn - in one form or another.

Lorkhan is a strange god. He created Nirn, but is not it's patron. He is seen both as a champion and hero of mer, but also as an enemy and destroyer of mer. Shor is a Nord version of him and one where he is considered as heroic god, granting valour for those who deserve it in death.

Lorkhan is said to be dead, as Shor is said to be imprisoned in to the Underworld.
