But yes, most everything in modern fiction is a copy of or inspired from other works/stories. Originality is nigh extinct.
Lorkhan is a strange god. He created Nirn, but is not it's patron. He is seen both as a champion and hero of mer, but also as an enemy and destroyer of mer. Shor is a Nord version of him and one where he is considered as heroic god, granting valour for those who deserve it in death.
Lorkhan is said to be dead, as Shor is said to be imprisoned in to the Underworld.
