Is it dumb to have two characters at once?
I have a mage character i am enjoying. But i do want to check out another race/"class". Is it stupid to roll two characters?

No, I have 58.

While I usually only play one character at a time in TES games, I frequently have multiple game or party saves in other cRPGs like BG II. There is nothing wrong with either approach.

Dumb is just a matter of perspective - play how you want to, and enjoy :)

Well, the actually reason for me wanting to reroll is to play as Altmer. Master Race. Thalmor is right, i wonder if you can join their just cause.

Nope, but you can with console commands.

Dumb ... certainly not there are several routes you can play ... mage, tank or assassin/thief or a general build. then the different races or custom races (mods) or with several mod configs ...

Dual wield or two hander...ugh hard to choose!!

Let your RP decide which he'll use.

I would go for dual wield twohanded is sometimes clunky. twohanded has a higher damage output however you compensate that by the sheer speed of dual wield.

I was going to point out how clever you would be to shuffle two save files along like that...

But then you mentioned the Thalmor, and I now retract my compliment :|

I used to make a new character in Morrowind about every 3 hours, because my choices race- and class-wise never satisfied me.
All that time that's gone to waste...

I don't seem to get the character indecision problem with RPGs, but I completely get them from tournament fighters. I'm going to learn Ken. No, I am going to learn Chun-Li. No, I am going to learn Dhalsim. Nah, I think I will learn Vega. Screw it, I'm going back to Ken. And to the cycle repeats.
