Sry Another Question, Dead Bodies not Clearing ?? eh O.O
Because i now have the 3 extra expansion on my return to whiterun thru the gates, 2 vamp cultists came and and blah blahing at me, then prceeded to try n skill me, with the guards we killed them but the now empty looted bodies remain behind, residents of whiterun keep gathering at their corpses, "oh what happened" or "thats what u get leaving things lying around , to trip on" that cracked me up that one ...

Unoffical patches fix that

it's not broken so there is nothing to fix. And the Unofficial patches will break the game.
thanks guys / gals, i found a console command where you open console, click dead body n type disable , worked in the daytime for me , thanks for replies =)
Disable is only half of it - you also need to use the 'markfordelete' code after using disable.

Disable just makes the object invisible and non-interactable. Its still there and the game will load it every time the cell loads so lots of invisible bodies can slow things down.

But really - there's nothing broken here. The bodies will be cleared away after the cell respawns. Unfortunately that means you have to stay *out* of the cell until it does and that may take up to 30 days to kick in.

To make this happen faster, look for mods that allow you to control the time-frame of cell resets.

ANd ignore TX3000 - he's apparently on a 'all mods are bad' kick today.

o.O ohhh i didnt know so that likely to come back ?
eh stay out of whiterun for 30 days, is that game time ?

It's not exactly that they'll come back, it's that they are still there. You just can't see them any more. If possible, the easiest thing would be to reload to before you disabled them and then use disable and markfordelete, because if you go clicking wildly trying to find them, you might accidentally delete the ground.

ohhh, >_< eck , k well ive already used the disable, at teh time i didnt know about doing markfordelete afterwards +_+ k well if they reload , i'll know next time, there's bound to be more attacks come thru gates or walk up and go blah blah attack o.O ... >_<
lol well which ever, for now the crowds wont be stopping to say "ohh what happemed" at a vamp culitist corpse ;p
If you've already disabled them, I wouldn't worry about it. Even with 'disable' the stuff will be removed once the cell resets - 'markfordelete' just does it the next time the cell is *loaded*.
The bodies of DLC content won't disappear without a cell reset unfortunately. The native inhabitants of Whiterun have a specel cleanup script that removes the bodies after a few days and send them to a holding cell prior to being sent to the Hall of the Dead. The DLC content, wel they never seem to have gottten around to sorting that out

aww, so theyre always going to be there, well in a previous post someone said if i try to find them now, clicking and markfordelete, i could possibly risk deleting part of the ground, i dont want to risk, and since on my screen , none can see the corpses anymore , for the time being i an forget theyre there, and carry on ... o.O
