WETriggerScript Error
heres a screenshot. http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/487822565292026376/04CB8263AB5E125E02464366DEFEF02CCAA6136F/ Recently I've been modifying the game according to what instructions the RealVision ENB mod gives. After a failed attempt with the mod modifying my inis, my catalyst settings, and in-game settings my TESV.exe dissapeared. I tried verifying the cache and eventually uninstalled everything from the mod and starting over by deleting skyrim local game files and then reinstalling. Now I get this error and the game crashes when starting it up.

I've already tried this solution and it did not work.

This bug usually happens, when Steam finds some files have doubles or are not properly uninstalled. Few things to try.

1. Make sure that there are no double files in your game folder - like that you have accidentially made a copy for Skyrim.exe and left it in the game folder.

2. See your Data Files view from launcher. Make sure that no old patch file is floating around. They do not always delete themselves properly. Verify your files.
.
3. Exit Steam. Remove your appcache folder from Steam folder. Reboot your computer. Relaunch Steam and verify your files.

4. If that did not work, then remove appcache folder from Steam folder. Completely uninstall Skyrim. Reboot your computer. Relaunch Steam. Reinstall Skyrim.

I've heard this has helped some people solve this problem.

Install the Creation Kit (Steam > Library > Tools > Creation Kit). That will create steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ and includes the WETrigger scripts.

How does this work? I launched the program and everything but I have no idea how to work it. Tutorial or something?

I believe the mere installation of the creation Kit fixes the script error.

Just disabled Update.esm in plugins on Nexus Mod Manager and it fixed it. Thanks for the replies anyway.

You disabled the official Skyrim updates? Wow... well good luck with that, I guess.

See if this helps.

"I was searching the web and finally came across a solution. Its not permanent but it works. In appdata/local/skyrim there is a file named plugins.txt. the problem for me was that there were 2 skyrim.esm listed in plugins.txt. All i did was delete one so that there is only one skyrim.esm. Every time i restart Boss or NMM another skyrim.esm would be added to plugins.txt. I made plugins.txt read only for now but is this a problem with Boss or NMM? "
