Necromancy - embalming mod?

I has an ask:

possible to make a mod where if one has the three (is there four?) embalming tools, and the cloth, could we embalm freshies?

Then pick up the embalmed corpse, (put into character inventory) which might look like the Daugr embalmed corpses, and make orf with it/them.

Freshies might make a nice snack too, for vamps, or serve on standby for reanimation, or might serve as a means to take a dead npc elsewhere where they can be reanimanted and used as a follower/guard - Undead Balgruff for instance, the Jarl of Whiterun - zombehfied.

Seems like such a waste. We have the tools, the cloth, the "freshies".. and the will to stack a room with creepy trophies, which might also have a use, like provide some sort of harvest.

I have no idea about modding, and this would seem quite complicated an idea.

I'm still going through the mods, and I kinda hope to see something like this

You're looking for the mod Corpse Perparation. While it doesn't do everything you want to do (shudder) it does let you truly reanimate corpses into different kinds of undead thralls (including mummified thralls at the highest Necromancy level). Look it up.
