NPC/Armor texture quality

Hello! I was wondering if its possible to change npc/armor texture quality to medium while keeping other textures at low. Is there a mod or a line in skyrimprefs.ini file which makes it possible? If I set all textures to medium the performance hit is a bit too much for my poor old laptop.
