Issue on start up
The game doesn't let me play without and audio device but my computer is having trouble recognizing any audio source therefore I cannot boot the game up, why would Bethesda think of forcing people to have audio devices to play the game? Stressing the FORCE so don't rant in the comments.

You should have built-in audio on your system, most PCs have them on their motherboard, plus most graphics cards have an additional audio built into them. When was the last time you updated your audio drivers? How old is your system? Are you on PC or Laptop?

Skyrim has extensive audio files as part of the game immersion, Aninal sounds, Dialogue and such, hence the need for audio. I wouldn't concider it being forced, but more as expected.

When moving the hardware into a different box entirely I guess something may have been broken, since no matter what I plug in such as headphones or my speakers work, I've went into the audio section and no audio device has been installed? Not entirely sure what to do on my end lol. Guess google will be my answer. And audio is forced considering it literally doesn't allow boot up without an audio device.

Check under "Accessories" for your "Sysytem Information" look for drivers and see if they are there and active. Also check for conflicting programs and forced hardware.

If your speakers and headphones are working then part of your audio is functional, so it may just be a driver problem, also check inside to make sure all of your connections on the motherboard are correct.

While it is a bit strange, a sound card is technically listed under the system requirements for the game.

If you are having issues with your built-in sound device though and cannot easily swap it out (laptop), get a cheap usb dac.
