Run this:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15524/?

AFT has an option for armor/equipment management.

i have tryed a other mod before posting(the mod is too old and not work =/) and with the mod you have linked the face of the follower(ONLY Apply to the follower WTF) is a little bit... Bugged(At short distance to the face the face have visible bugged polygons =/ (I'ts Like Picmic In TF2) and at far distance the face seem to have Mii(Yes from the Wii/U) texture

AFT shouldn't do that. I and many others use it with no issues.

Once you manage a follower with AFT, there should be a dialogue option to enable equipment management. Once you do that, its Tweak Options>Gear...>View Standard Outfit.

Take everything you don't want out of there, and give them the equipment you want.

I'm personally one for UFO. There's an option to tell them to dress better, then it'll allow you to remove their default armor and replace it. To each their own, though.

In short, UFO allows you to manage all your followers as a whole unit. Great for mods like Civil War Overhaul and frostfall, if you have created a combat unit of your own from followers, or otherwise like to roam in a band. Clunky and average with 1 or 2 follower, because it does not make them any smarter. You need a book from Breezehome or console command to open these command shouts.

AFT is a tinkering mod. If you spend equal or more time in your followers inventory, then this is for you. Lacks properly working group commands, so it is not for larger unit battles. Quite good for just 1 or 2 followers, custom followers or your vanilla facorites who are you BFF's 4 Life.

I am personally using UFO, because mauling Stormcloaks and dragons with selfmade unit in CVO and DCO is (IMO) way better than having pretty followers switching to their summer dresses in solitude.

Even without a follower mod you can equip your followers with the armor you want. In my case it was Lydia, she is scripted for Heavy Armor but I gave her some Light Armor I had crafted. As long as the armor you give them is better than what they have, they will equip that armor when they enter into combat, but only then.
