I think this'll solve a lot of my issues with the game. I'm playing him as a sort of curious weapons expert/mercenary. He has logical reasons to join each of the factions. The hardest one for immersion will be Winterhold, but that's what the rumor mill at the inns are for and what decent mercenary doesn't listen to town rumors and gossip?
Not sure which side of the Civil War I'll join. I went with Ralof at Helgen, cause well, the Imperials tried to cut off my head and joining Ralof gets you more arrows. This may be the build that changes sides. I've never done that before. Start off with the Stormcloaks and then end with the Imperials. A mercenary would do whatever benefitted him.

Also, crank the difficulty up to Master or even Legendary, because even then it's still easy.
If you, like me, hate how you have to unrealistically swing your sword through your enemies hundreds of times before they fall at higher levels, try SkyTweak.

If you look at the 3rd screenshot from SkyTweak's workshop page, you'll see 2 variables:
Damage Dealt <difficulty> and Damage Taken <difficulty>.
I for one play on Master, but set the values to:
Damage Dealt Master=2.00
Damage Taken Master=4.00
This means that I do twice as much damage as in Vanilla, and guarantees a more realistic approach to damage in Skyrim. With balance in mind, however, I set it so that I take even 4x the usual amount of damage, forcing me to plan my attacks and blocks carefully, and rely heavily on a possible follower or atronach.
Expert difficulty is plenty on a no crafting build, I've tried Master and Legendary and it just seemed tedious, as all it added was more health, but I thank you for your suggestion of SkyTweak. As for the other mod, as cool as it sounds, I'm not a Nexus user. Don't get me wrong, Nexus is great, I just don't use it. Besides, I'm not much of a cart user. I had my horse by level 1. 1000 septims is easy to raise.
Yep, that's what I meant. Only to recharge weapons, but to be honest, I've favoring unenchanted weapons right now because of Elemental Fury. I'm saving filled soul gems for end game weapons that do more damage.
I saw that one, but opted for a mod that was more generic instead. Thanks for suggesting it though.
Thank you, but like I've said before, I don't use Nexus. Sounds like a good mod though.
Lol, multiple doggies makes things a quite laggy in Breezehome, but that was because I was encumbered. Once I sorted my stuff, things went back to normal.
Will deliver construction supplies to the Retirement home and purchase logs when I resume play. Construction won't begin until the build is nearly finished.
I think so, I've read most of the books in the game. It sounds familar. For now, I'll probably start with Volendrung, and possibly risk Liar's retreat for the Long Warhammer. That weapon with Elemental fury is pretty sweet. Then, I go get the Ebony blade for the rest of the jobs. Wuthraad would also make an appearance for any elves. Haha, for the wedding I have something special planned. :D

I did admire her bravery. I chose the "I have no money" option. Technically true, as I can't really access my inventory in Beast form. She attacked. Mr. Meric then had breakfast. Haha, next time, I'll have the werewolf give the money. Then have breakfast. 200 septims is worth a good laugh.
Hahaha, that's a good one. I love them. You know, really, the Dovahkiin is only a stone's throw from a bandit. Hello? Kill people for money, rob, join the Thieves Guild, do anything if the coin is good enough. The only separatation is that the Dovahkiin is SMART enough to do it for the right people. :)
Hahaha, there is a reason why Mr. Meric lives a life of comfort at a suped up Breezehome while they are dwelling in caves and abandoned ruins and forts. Smarts.
