Error Code 80 .... wth is that???
everytime I load the game it crashes with error code 80 coming up or a steam error code.
Skyrim was workig fine earlier today, didn't add any new mods or remove any.
Do need a newer version of SKSE it always tells me but hell if I know how to update it.

SKSE has an installer now. Install it as you would a normal program.

I get this ll the time, too. Try suggestions from link I will do in a moment: (verify game cache, run as administrator, try "-autoconfig", etc.) Usually it's a problem with a Windows update, so I "program restore" to a date before the update.

Looks like I'm wiping the slate clean and restarting game without mods

Lots of times I have to un-subscribe to mods. Another thing to try is looking for incompatible programs & getting your computer to try running it different. (I'm a noob, can you tell?)

Close steam and restart computer or MSCONFIG/startup/steambootstrapper/tick box/apply/OK and restart computer.
This is in pinned topic
Windows and steam conflict nothing to do with games

Kelvy, I'm 52 years old only been doing computers for like 5 years and have no clue what the heck I'm doing with one.
You young kids put links and such up which are no help for me since I really have no clue where to use them or how they apply to the problem.
When my kids are home I have them look at the comp and figure out what dad is doing wrong.
I'd been playing PS2 until my son bought a new PS4 and gave me his old PS3 and a new copy of Skyrim for it since he knew I liked Balder's Gate and Champions of Norrath so much.
That being said where do I use this:
MSCONFIG/startup/steambootstrapper/tick box/apply/OK
and then what?
thanks.

exit/restart steam or shutdown the computer, wait a couple mins. and restart computer.
And (Kelvy's solution) If the error persists then go to window's "Start" button (lower left corner of desktop) and type in the "Search" box: MSCONFIG, click on Startup, Steam Client, tick box, APPLY, OK and restart computer. (sometimes it is ticked just untick and tick again and proceed)

The "Application load error P:0000065432" can often be solved using "The IT Solution": Shutdown the computer, wait a couple of minuets, restart computer. (This should be the first possible "fix" tried no matter what the error.)

P.S. I think Kelvy and I are much older than you. (I know I am by 10 years.)

Cool, now I dont feel like I'm the ancient among a bunch of kids. love these games just not up to the computer age stuff yet. Kids think I'm still in the stone age. which is why they bought me the computer 5 years back. And I think they regret it since every time they visit one or the other has to fix something for me on it. LOL.
Looks like I got things working again though, clicked Steam and ran as administrator and the game started fine. Also had to download something from Steam because the game wasn't the same as they had in their "Cloud"
