It crashes for me too but after the logo. I see the imperial symbol on the main menu but only for a split second before it closes.

Then this is likely not a problem with mods, but with either your hardware or sofware. Try to verify your files.

- Exit Steam
- Go to you Steam folder and delete a folder named appcache
- Reboot your computer
- Start Steam
- Right click the game in Steam client Library view.
- Select Properties - > Local Files - > Verify Integrity of Game Cache

Your game files have now been inspected from clean slate. If that does not fix it, then some other file is in the wrong place or missing.

Teachers voice: You haven't paid attention for what you have read.

Crashing after Bethesda logo implies that you are missing one or more mods from your game. Not all mods are standalones, but need information from other mods to work properly. Those source mods are called as Parent Mods. This information was given in mod Download page, or ReadMe file (if such exists.)

Run BOSS to see what you are missing. If it can't find the culprit(s), then you will have to manually visit mod Download pages to see what you have missed.

If you've got mods chances are it's one of them. If you're the type of person to add several mods at once and then start up the game, you're going to have to disable one mod at a time until it starts up correctly. Use BOSS as a starter to help narrow things down, making sure if there are any unknown mods that you know what you're doing.
Good luck, many have had this issue.
