Any of you having issues with Skyrim on nvidia driver 335.23 like me?
Just recently I played Skyrim which I haven't played since like September and now I noticed a lot of stuttering after at least a minute of gameplay. I suspect the nvidia driver to be the culprit. If I go back to an older nvidia driver, does it work similar to installing the latest driver like say after downloading the latest driver from the geforce site, clicking the install file, and choosing express install it would overwrite a few files?

Also, when I first download and installed 335.23 I did it through the Geforce Experience program instead of doing it manually. I hope it's not the cause. If it was, all my other games would have performance issues.

Skyrim is picky. It doesn't take to change easily. So your other games could run fine with the new driver. The new driver is usually optomized for newer games, not older ones. I would try the revert to older driver and see if it helps. It not, you can always reinstall newest driver.

I to upgraded to the 337.50. Its still says its in beta form. With this one, it says inporves performance on many games ( Skyrim is said to get 25% better with this driver )

Nope, have same drivers, no problems for me (GTX 675M).

EDIT: Also did you do CLEAN driver install via Expirience ? If not, you should.

A clean install? Interesting, I'll try that next time.

Sorry for the noobish question but how do you properly revert to an older driver?

I've noticed my ENB looking like total CRAP after I updated... Might have to do with that... not sure. It really sucks. It ♥♥♥♥es me off.
So yes, I suppose I also have issues.

Ok, I decided to download 337.50 from the GeForce website instead of downloading and install through GeForce Experience. I did a clean install but then later the screen went blank for like 1 hour. It was taking too long to install. Usually it takes minutes to install and the screen going blank for like a few seconds. I had no choice but to do a hard reboot (my PC case has a reset button) which I know is bad for my PC. I'm back to 332.21 now although the Phsyx driver seems like the latest, it was still installed after I hard reboot. I don't think it's a good idea to keep the latest Physx driver if I went back to an older graphics driver. Is it?

geforce exp. is a bad idea , it actually taxes your system with 'always online connection' 337.61 is the good skyrim driver , do a clean install , and do custom , if you dont use the 3d bs or sound through the card dont install it , do not install auto update /check or experience , only physics and the driver itself , nvidia wants access to your rig with all the bs addons , dont waste your time and resources on them ,
