something bad going on in this forum?
what is this?

Valid thought, altough I am not sure linked page itself is very useful.

I don't see bullying around here - just few trolls -, but it is a wide problem around internet. There is no reason to follow it happening from sidelines, but going in with full rammingspeed migt only escalate things further.

Calm adult minds and support for our young friends.

Speak of the devil. ;)
I believe that cyberbullying requires that the people know each other in real life; ie kids that take their in-school bullying online so that they can continue to harrass the victim at home. In other words, they have to know something about the victim first. As long as you keep your name, location, age, sex and whatnot off the web you should be fine.
I think this might gain more visibility if it were say, posted on the steam discussions forum itself..

Though it is a nice gesture, to post this on the game forums would kinda amount to spamming... I mean, this forum is not much different from all the other forums and so you would have to post this on every game forum, surely? So... I'm not sure what the logic is in posting here.

We do need to raise awareness about places for victims to be able to go to talk though, but unfortunately, it is a lot harder from the position of the victim. The issue on steam I would rather say, exists within the chat area, rather than the forums...bullies need privacy and they cannot bully in open view like here in the forums...they can best comit their evil doings after friending someone, or having access to their profile comments etc...

So like I say, why post this on the Skyrim forum when you can reach a wider audience on the 'suggestions / ideas', or 'Steam discussions' forums? (composing the post in it's respective format to that forum)

Is this a response to something? Or general info. I guess if OP is assisting a victim then not likely to answer publically.
So just putting it out there - new as I am here - will support any attempt to stop cyberbullying. If general info, maybe a forum for this sort of thing needs to be setup and labelled so everyone can see/access it easilly? I dunno if there already is one - haven't looked, to be honest...

Oh it happens in here alright. There are some very nasty people in this world and all of them can access the internet anytime they like.

I think there are enough engaged and mature members in the Skyrim forum to make sure things don't typically get too out of hand but I have seen some disturbing things in other forums. The official response is to use the "Report" button anytime you see something that is against the TOS, and Discussions Rules and Guidelines. I think it's important to speak up, not that you will change anybody's way of thinking but so your silence is never mistaken for approval.

Just looked it up.
Quite frankly I'm very disgusted and very, VERY angry over what I read.

Despite the seeming irrelevance of this being placed in this particular section of the forum, I fullheartedly welcome the message.

edited because of autocorrect mistake.
