I get really really annoyed with how many 'skimpy dressed sexy female' mods there are. It's really out of place if you ask me. Skyrim is a land of snowy mountains, rugged terrain, hostile wildlife, and bearded people. And to see someone with a beach body, and very little in the way of armor or clothing in this cold, dangerous land is just stupid in my opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone. I'm just stating my opinion. Again, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this.

It's one of the most discussed issues here besides "Stormcloak vs. Imperials" and "My game crashes".
Nope you're not the only one. I use all the filters necessary on the Nexus to avoid that kind of stuff and save some facepalms, though is their right to play their game in any way they want.

What really bugs me is the fact that many of these guys demand respect and ask for tolerance towards their fond of barbies with thongs and nipple-covers, but get pissed, whine and troll when there's a mod that takes out the skimpyness of a vanilla female armor. Yay for double standards!

Some guys try to find a way to get a boner from video games, and with Skyrim having detailed graphics and being pretty lifelike, it was a huge target for pedophiles. They disgust me too, and KSMKOC, your logic is awesome. The problem is though, having Skyrim mods make you feel like a god, and most likely people take that power overboard- in a creepy, sexual way.

My girls are fully clad armour though there is a skimpy set as well. But have winter clothes that you put on when in older parts of Skyrim and caves etc would be better.
I never actually have checked to see if a mod does that.(add clothes only as you enter these places and this is done automatically)

I agree with you, OP. I also don't like how most of those mods also include makeup and hair that looks like you are on an 80's porn shoot. The denizens of Tamriel are living what is essentially a 13th century lifestyle; a world without central heating, indoor plumbing and even toilets. The people look dirty and haggard for a reason.

The Elder Scrolls is not medievel earth. Its another planet with some similarities but things like a gorgeous woman being burned at the stake isnt one of them. In fact being beautiful seems to be a major advantage in Tamriel dating all the way back to the days of TES 2 DAGGERFALL with the likes of Morgana. Of course she was witch though :D

Woman in Tamriel are looked up to as powerful and wise most of the time. The only oppression and demeaning attitudes I see going on are between the different races. The orcs are one of the most put down and laughed at races on Nirn when they are not being feared.

I dont mind nude mods but after using them for awhile the logic starts to nag at me why anyone would not wear as much clothing as possible to stay warm indoors considering the arctic climate of SKYRIM.

About skimpy armor mods they never appealed to me because they seem so out of place in SKYRIM. Forget exposed body areas for enemy weapons just the cold by itself will kill anybody dressed like that.

Now if this was a setting like OBLIVION, MORROWIND or DAGGERFALL then I would gladly use some skimpy armor mods or at least something that makes the female form more appealing in armor.

This pisses me off. Skyrim doesnt really have detailed graphics, and it is anything but lifelike in an unmodded state. 'huge target for pedophiles' what kind of ♥♥♥♥♥ moron are you? unless you don't understand the difference between pervert and pedophile? either way you are a moron. There are maybe 20 children that I have seen in the base game, and I have never once seen a mod that actively sexualizes children for skyrim (fallout 3, yes, oblivion, there were a few custom races with 'childlike' bodies, but no direct claim they were children, matter of fact, in oblivion the only 'childlike races I remember were elves or half animal, thus, it wouldnt be out of line to claim much older than they look. Or you could always look at it as like gnomes from WoW). There is absolutely no problem with nudity mods or their ilk from a logical standpoint. To claim otherwise is pure ignorance. As far as 'skimpy' armours, many of the ones I've seen cover more than the fur bikini present in the default game.
*EDIT* the language filter apparently considers the word M.o.r.o.n as a cussword. That's news to me lol.
Personally, I don't currently use skimpy armours. This is partially because the only one with vanilla 'skimpy' replacers is cbbe, and the ones it has seem to think having just a pair of panties on the lower body is 'sexy'. That is whorish and slutty more than anything else.
As far as artic climate of skyrim, it isnt like the entire continent is frozen. you have many sections of the country where the only snow is on mountaintops, and you add in things like magic (there is no way that you are ever going to be able to say that they can't use a weakened form of fire elemental magic and enchantments as a way to keep warm)and there is no logical reason that people couldnt wear extremely skimpy clothes in most parts of skyrim, aside from modesty issues.
As for Alkpaz, the land of Tamriel is quite different from our medievil period. FFS you have a woman in charge of the blades (at least in the region of skyrim)! You also have quite a few female 'gods' Dibella and Mara for sure, and a number of the Daedric lords are commonly seen as female, or usually manifest as female. Hell, you have a very large number of influential female figures in the various guild questlines, such as Astrid, or Aela, the east empire trading company's leader was/is ia woman, and the Thalmor leader in skyrim is female as well!

I don't care what mods people like to use because it is their game and it is a single player game. So if you or anyone doesn't like a mod, don't use it, problem solved. If you're offended by a mod, so what, no one is forcing you to use it. Frankly it is none of your business how someone else plays a single player game anyway. If you want to be pissed off over something be pissed about a real life issue not what other people are doing with their free time in a video game.

What on earth makes you think this game is a target for pedophiles? There is no mod to have sex with children, no mod that replaces the child bodies with nude versions, and no sexy clothing mods that replace children's clothes. By default they can not even be killed.

I don't disagree with you that many people playing this game want to see nude characters or skimpy clothes, but I have never seen any mod that does this with the children in the game. If you want to say a bunch of horny people like nude mods and skimpy armors, fine. That doesn't make them something as repulsive as a disgusting pedophile.

With that in mind, is ignorant statements like you made that make people think games are nothing but sex and violence and that congress needs to get involved and censor games. Every government on the planet is already up our buts about everything we do already; let's keep them out of our games and other forms of entertainment.
