No, Nord norms only allow multiple marriages between men.

I'd guess in the interest of political correctness(read as: wider audience=higer profits), polygamy is not happening. I bet if you search hard enough, someone has made a mod for it.

If you actually cook yourself, then you can forget the marriage. There will be surplus of lovely ladies tossing themselves to your dragonic arms.

What's not allowing poly relationships got to do with political correctness? If they only allowed male characters to have multiple wives, I suppose that would be un-PC, but I'm about as PC as they get and I'd *love* to be able to marry my (mostly female) characters to (probably mostly female) multiple NPCs. Maybe a few chaps for variety.

(Men who can cook are definitely hotter than men who can't even make their own sandwiches, though, Ref and Dan are right.)

Better safe than sorry? It has been kind of a polarizing issue. Probably because it so often also involves child brides. With most people being the simple, easily excitable herd animals they are, they can tend to glance over details and dive straight into outrage. All it takes is one monkey to start ranting about it for mainstream media to pick it up, then blow it completely out of proportion. That's the kind of thing that can kill a big chunk of sales. It's easier to just not include it rather than have to try and deal with a bunch of stooges who aren't really going to listen to the other side of the argument anyway.

I agree with you that so long as it goes both ways it would be no big deal. It seems like I recall there being some ruckus when Fable allowed same sex marriage, and then a little less for Mass Effect(is that the one?). I'm actually a little surprized they risked it at all.

Instead of marrying for looks you should find your true love.

Tbh it sounds more like something the 'moral majority' would get bent out of shape over, corrupting the youth and all that.

Dragon Age: Origins came out 2009.

I am straight guy. My character was a straight guy, still I did Zevran in DA:O like a... and... with... and then... PURPLE DRAGONS and female mages with divine legs.

Like we all did.

Bethesda had little to worry about same sex stuff after that.
