Your Charectar and Bards College ???
After you get the quest to go check out the solitude bard college, and then afer speaking the head bard fella, and doing his quests for him, you become a bard, is that all then are able to stand in the inns and sing or play drums, lutes n such or was the bards quest all there was ?

Nope however there is a mod that lets become you a real bard.

Yea....the Bards College is definitely lacking in Skyrim. There are a few fetch quests you can do after the Burning of King Olaf (if you haven't done them already), aside from that, that's it.

Then here is a mod for you.

I am doing a rare exception and recommending something from the Workshop. This happens, because the author, LP, was kind enought to offer an optional download source for us, who really do not want Workshop to manage our mods.

ahh ok thanks, no idea how to install or use mods, i went to nmm, to download , said i had to register , went to register for a new account, the brings me to a package page, payment options, O.O eh ?? , i thought NMM was free ??
Ilja 14 apr om 1:47vm
NMM is free.

Nexus gathers donations to work, but they are not mandatory.

If you trust Workshop to handle your mods, then just click the "Subscribe" button next to mod and it will directly install itself to your game. That is super easy and therefore many players favor it over a bit more complex procedures of Nexus and NMM.

If you wish to use NMM, then just download it and install it. First launch will get it to search trough your HD for compatible games. It might take a while. Then it will want your account information. Just give it.

After that, you can simply clicks "Download with NMM" links in Nexus. They will use NMM as client to download and install mods to your game.

You can also download mods directly to your HD. You can pick them up with NMM (upper icon) and install them. NMM can also install files from outside Nexus and Workshop.

It shouldn't make any difference. I installed it to it's default path.

ok teh NMM im guessing is empty when u install it , so im looking at the the breezehome fully upgradeable mod handled with nmm, but to make sure i download the right one, there's 3 versions, one with doawguard and hearthfire another with dawguard only , then the No Dlc Edition what ever that is, which would be the more suitable, this is my first mod im downloading, so like a i said earlier no idea which is the right one, ??

_ side note i downloaded the 3rd choice after reading it properly , but now its asking for an application to opening , which do i use the nmm? or ? _

No DLC means you don't have any of the DownLoadable Content, i.e. Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. If you just have the base game, get the No DLC version. If you have the Legendary Edition you have all three DLC in your game, so get the Dawnguard and Hearthfire version (I am guessing this should be compatible with Dragonborn, too, but they haven't felt the need to create a specific version for that as Dragonborn probably didn't add any relevant items).

If you're just starting out modding, I highly recommend Gopher's beginner's guide to modding on YouTube (may not be the exact title, but should be close enough to get you the right result if you google it). It'll take a bit of time to watch the whole series, but if you follow his advice you'll save a lot of time and frustration in the long run. Mods are awesome, but there is a bit of risk involved so it's well worth learning the basics of what you're doing before you start to minimise how risky it is.

When you're DL a file with the "download with manager" button and it asks you that, the application is NMM. Depending on your browser it might ask you if you are sure, answer yes.

thansk everyone, will watch that you tube yoo, my new house mod is awesome, =D which brings me to my next mod question, i found some armor which i think was a little better that what lydia was wearing after trading her, how do i get her to wear the rest of , i gave a full set, plus smithed a better sword which she auto equipped, and the helmet she auto wore, but the armor and gloves n boots she wont put on, if i click the peices they end up back in my bags then i have to trade them back to her, i cant right or left click without the pieces comong back o me ?

Is it light or heavy armour? She has a high heavy armour skill, so light armour would have to be *amazing* for her to equip it because her heavy armour skill boosts the AR of her steel armour much higher than the AR you see on even a very good piece of light armour (especially if you're a light armour character, I think). If it's heavy, it may not be quite as good as what she's got, or it may be that she ignores any improvements you've made. If you're giving her steel plate or something, she should always put that on, but if you've improved some iron or steel armour, she might not bother with it.

Once you're confident with the modding process, though, there are mods that let you choose exactly what your follower will wear (and I think some which let you change their skill level, though don't quote me on that, so you could e.g. make Lydia into a light armour specialist. In fact, it's quite possible that the follower mod I use has this feature, come to think of it...) assuming you have it available to give to them.
