Once you actually delve deeper into the game and put some hours into it, you can start going crazy with mods.
Use your list to figure out what mods you'd like (you may not find exactly what you want, but you'll probably find some stuff that is pretty close, maybe even cooler). Then use what you've learned from Gopher to have a much better chance of adding mods to your game without screwing it up.
Mods are awesome, but they're also a bit of a risk, and if you don't know what you're doing and pay attention to the advice of people who've got a bit of experience, it's extremely easy to completely wreck a save game, and have to start a completely new character - not the end of the world, but blinking annoying when you're at level 45, halfway through this character's story, and were about to do something SUPER EXCITING. To be honest, this may well happen sometimes anyway, but if you have a pretty good idea what you're doing, it's much more likely you'll be able to fix it, or at least learn from the experience.
Don't start with Gems though. I just use it to see if any interesting mods flew under the radar.
Well then fran thats alot of hours lol. Alos you could just look around the work shop for some light mods like Lockpicking Pro, Sounds, ect SkyUI
I loved AFT for being able to bring more that one follower and other options such as configuring a fighting outfit and a home outfit. Also being able to set up camp outdoors was a nice touch as well.
