Ridable Mount Keeps Popping On Fast Travel ?
Hi, ive discovered a small stormclaok camp , in which there was a rideable mount, just for fun i got on n went a short distance, n dismounted the horse then turned around then i assumed went back to the storm cloak camp, but now anytime i fast travel the same horse is popping there, as if I've just got off from riding it ? poor thing some of the places are quite blizzardy, and snowing when u can hardly see, i cant seem to fix what ever it is i did , im thinking perhaps on my joy ride, should i've just rode the horse back to camp then dismounted ? o.O

Yep , you have a bug. Nope, I can't remember waht I did to get it to stop. Try using the unofficial patches for Skyrim and it's DLC's.( Located on the Nexus.)

k thanks, just fyi i dont use mods either, but i deleted the charectar n saves , its was fine, now i know not to jump on that mount, when i see it again... o.o
Okay, so... I can't tell if Hamsterbytes is trolling or not. If not, I'm kind of amazed that he has 1000+ hours logged in Skyrim and still doesn't know how horses work...
Anyway, it isn't a bug at all. That's what every horse in the game will do if you mount them. See, the way the game thinks, once you've gotten on a horse, that horse is yours. You don't even have to move, either, just get on the horse and it follows you wherever you go. Only way to get rid of it is to kill it or jump on another horse.

I am unsure if you are trolling or not, because your answer was wrong.

Game tracks horses based on last ridden one, that much is true. However, fast travel tracking is based on ownership of the horse. Stolen horse would not travel with you, if you are not riding it.

This case was not about the owned horse, but borrowed horse. These mounts return back to their original cell, once unmounted.

If this does not happen in your game by default, then your game is bugged.

Some mods can temporarily count borrowed horse as yours. Convenient Horses is known to do this. According to my own experience (meaning not hard data), this usually happens if mod originally calculates faction relations toward horses by using borrowed or stolen horse.

Either Hamsterbytes was right, or your mount mod is acting up. It usually goes away, when game compares ownerships. If not, then you have an extra horse around. Enjoy.

Well, then, I apologize for misinformation.
I'll admit, I don't really use horses much. XD

I was just coming down here to fix the start of my comment to something that would have sounded less rude, like just *Krhm.*

I just came from the gym. Might be best that I take a calm walk outside, before answering to any more threads.

He is your horse now, if he was ridable and not tagged as STEAL then he is your horse
