no. probably a bad load order going on with your mods or a conflict with your mods, you use mods right?

Yes. Steam wants everyone not to be on steam.

Why would Steam do that? To lose customers?
I had a series of crashes, but they were all down to a bad save. When I went back to the previous save, all was well. I use 87 mods and the bad save crashes are all I have ever had. There is no way that Steam would do that.

Are you seriously asking, if Steam tries to drive it's customers away, to another platform that does not bring any profits to Steam?

I think we need a doctor here.

While waiting for boys and girls in white jackets, cut the amount of heavily scripted mods from your game and run BOSS to sort the load order. ENBoost and similar mods will help you to ease the burden.

I agree with these guys. If you're experiencing a lot of crashes then you should definitely see if a bad save and/or some mods are the cause of it. Once you locate the the problem, simply delete the save and/or any mods that are causing your game to crash. I myself did experience several crashes and game freezes a while back, but now they don't happen as often.
