PC Help
Hey I just got skyrim today for my Windows 8 laptop. Game play is extremely choppy. The screen either flashes or flickers and the audio is extremely choppy and slow. This game is unplayable for me atm. What can I do?

Specs would be nice but turn your settings on low and give that a try.
My settings are on low. I am horrible with computers.
I am using an HP Pavilion G6. It is Windows 8.1 64 bit. intel(r) core(tm) i5-3210m cpu @ 2.50ghz
ram is 4 gigs
amd radeon hd 7600m graphics card
I am using the The HP intel GPU
Unless you have some really powerful laptop then the requirements might just not cut it to make the game less choppy, skyrim is a massive game with high quality graphics and a laptop might not be able to handle that.
Wow, that search was short. The 7600M, optimized, is not a gaming GPU. The best you can expect is mid-range settings and those will have to be tweaked. Google "Skyrim 7600 tweaks" which would include any searches with the digits so forget Amd or Radeon.
You, sir, are on a tweaking mission.

go search skyrim ini tweaks on google then disable shadows, lighting, etc

I did that
My input. So many laptop maufactorers are building crappy builds using almost obsolete CPUs and Video cards. Some are even using old 2 core cpus. The price difference between those and a better 4 core CPU is not alot. So don't cheap out and get fooled into buying something worthless.
