Armor & Weapon recommendations
Can people give me some recommendations for armor & weapon packs please. I have Hothtrooper's packs so no need to mention those. I'm not interested skimpy, sexy armors although if it's actually sexy without being unrealistic that would be fine. I also don't want any that replace armors or in the game just ones that give more options.

I'm browsing the top files in the Nexus sections but in a lot of cases you still need to go onto the specific mod page to get a decent preview.

Immersive Armors, it gives a set of nice-looking armors.

That's made by Hothtrooper.

...I actually can't think of another good set. Hothtrooper's compiles a lot of different weapon and armor packs, so other groups are included in that pack. You'd be amazed how many more armor sets are made to be ridiculously skimpy rather than at lore-friendly. My advice would be to just stick with Immersive Armors. There's a massive number of armors in that pack and I don't see why you would need more.

Sexy without being unrealistic? I don't mean to judge, but Elder Scrolls games tend to attract two types of players, as of Oblivion. Either you're into the game itself and the lore and would respect the game's established tone while still modding in some extra functionality, or you're more into or have progressed into playing dress-up with scantily-clad DovahBabes with artificially cleansed skin and Barbie-doll looks. :D

If you have Immersive Armors, then I wouldn't really know what to reccomend. Try checking out the armor sets on the Nexus on a case-by-case basis. The skimpy-to-realistic ratio is a bit skewed.

This. You know, for the most part, I try to adopt a "to each his own" mindset, but if you want to look at scantily clad/naked barbie dolls, the internet has a wonderland of such things for you to pursue. Why in the world would anyone want to take a game with such detail and possibility, and narrow it down to a dressup/sex/waifu simulator I'll never understand.

Any urge to see my skyrim character naked can easily purged by a trip to tumblr, xnxx, or a night with a my girlfriend.

Well - Shocks' suggestions are pretty good, overall. None of his three suggestions break the game's feel fundamentally, buit they do tease its limits. It all depends on whether or not you're okay with looking like Steampunk Elven Tony Stark or Medieval Ellen Ripley, Sans Alien Queen.

Or, well, you can just use the exosuit and roleplay in your head; mentally swap out the dragons with Alien Queens. Then you can self-insert yourself in all the "Get away from her, you female of the genus Canidae!" moments you'd care to enjoy.

I specifically stated I wasn't interested in those armor types. Sexy probably wasn't the right word to use however. I am looking for other stuff which for the most part fits with the one with Skyrim and not a Leia Slave outfit. There is a decent example of what I meant in terms of female armors in Immersive armors but can't remember the exact name however.

Generally I was just looking for other armor recommendations that fit with the tone of TES.

Try Craftable Guns (found in the workshop) for a little bit of fun. It's always amusing to shoot bandits in the face with a flintlock musket.

I think the OP is looking for things that are lore-friendly. While the dwemer power armors are pushing it a bit, I think they still fall in line with the lore enough that I'm glad they were posted and I downloaded them. The last one, though, is a bit too involved, IMO, and features textures and armor styles already present in vanila, Winter is Coming, and Immersive Armors.

But craftable guns is definitely going too far. There are no muskets in Tamriel in the fourth era. I've seen Dwemer guns before, and, again, while that's pushing it, it's hard to say that a race that has giant robot warriors couldn't have invented firearms, too.

Mostly lore-freindly while a weapon pack based on Final Fantasy wouldn't be what I'm looking for a decent looking armor based on Assassin's Creed that effectively isn't really that far from some of the hooded armor in the game is fine.
