I make a terrible Nord

I'm too damed soft-hearted to even BE in a harsh country like Skyrim, and a disgrace to the name of Nord. I've been running around killing people before I even see the whites of their eyes just because there's a 51% chance that they might want to kill me first, killing all manner of predators on sight, even sleeping bears I could've just snuck by.

But now here I am, walking along in the dark, in a snowstorm, with very low visibility, and I see something walking toward me. It's too far away to see clearly. Not big enough for a bear. No antlers. Is it a doe? A wolf? I make out a fluffy tail and decide it's a wolf. I get in a sneak attack and shoot it through the heart. I run up to it and it's a snow fox. One of those cute, cuddly, timid little foxes that run away from me because my lumbering footfalls and clanking armor frighten them. I almost cry.

I'm a disgusting mess.

Well the way i see it Sue D. Nim (fantastic nick btw). Your but a few hours in, it won't belong before your ripping out hearts and eating them, or biting necks and drinking the blood of your victims.... Mwahahahahahaha ;)

LOL. Once my brother resurrected a bunny with a modded dagger.... It's corpse was laying there, SLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDING away!

Huh I had almost the exact same thing. I was pottering about one of my Hearthfire houses and I was sure I spotted a threat. Turns out it was a snow fox. I skinned it and went on my way to the Winking Skeever to get hammered.

I killed one by accident when i did a power attack on a giant and the bunny got in the way, then i shot one on purpose and it squealed like they do in real life, didn't like that. Then a snuck up on one, drew my bow and then it stood up on it's hind legs and looked me in the eye, and I just melted, and I couldn't bring myself to kill it, so i ran off. I'm also a Nord

Just today I actually saw a poor little fox get killed by a bear trap - never seen that happen before! (It still wasn't actually caught *in* the trap, but still...)

This isn't worthy of its own thread so I'll post it here:

I was out exploring in the North West and I spotted a ship wreck so naturally I head towards it. As I neared I saw a dog. A freindly thing that had been in the wars (his health was nearly half gone). Just as I approached to comfort this poor hound he decided to run off and attack an Ice Wraith of all things. Needless to say the dog didn't last long and I found myself a bit upset about this. So upset I gave that Ice Wraith a dual Incinerate spell.

Meh. I wanted that dog as a pet. :(
