I realise this is not skyrim related but that was the game i was most peed off about
Start over or re-connect your old drive and recover your saves.
yeah HDD is gone now, For future i was trying to figure out what the best cloud option would be?

Does anyone use an online service to put savegames on?

I don't use on-line/remote/Cloud... all the same thing. If RIM, Nortel and larger companies can go mammaries up why would I trust any on-line/remote/Cloud service.
It is so simple to make backups to reliable, cheap solid state devices: There are many and of various types. Check out "best practices" regarding saving data that you deem important.

Get you a cheap re-writable cd or dvd disc.
I just downloaded razer, syncs all my save games onto my dropbox account.

Pretty handy tbh would recomend it, has a load of other tools too.

No doubt, very efficient. But, you are now introducing two layers between you and access to data deemed important... games saves or, as they say.. whatever. If the net is down, for example (and in this example the data is ANY data deemed important because that is the very nature of wanting to save data) your access is unfortunately, needlessly, limited.
