is there at some point In Game Co - Operative Play
I was wondering at any time during the game, does skyrim allow for co operative play so u can team up with another even if its just 2 u and one other , running around the world doing quests n such, or pehaps if not, then maybe they might make it possible in patch / update for future referernces ?? .. o.O just asking

Don't think so...but there's an Online Elder Scrolls game coming.

I think that would be good even if they just made 2 to start with, it gets a little boring running around on your own, just a little , o.O

No, there is no co-op in the game at all, and it was like that for 3 years. Obviously there will be no patch or dlc because Bethesda has moved on from Skyrim. Co-op sounds bad for Skyrim anyways, it just won't work.

has betheesdar said it wont work, ? but ok np like i said just asking o.o ..
The ESO is completely co-op. Checkout the mega thread here and Elder scrolls online via google.

No they didn't. They had the *TESO emulator* that the same group of guys was working on taken down. Skyrim Online is still in existence, though workk has stalled for other reasons.

this game is by far the easiest there has ever been but yet you noobs are always wondering how can i make it easier

just constantly sneak and use a bow with any character and you will have 0 problems completing this game on your own, if its to hard in an area, just power lvl something and try again and youll be fine

a co/op in skyrim lmao, i didnt realise people were that friggin stupid that they cant complete quite possibly the most simplistic game there has ever been

I agree that there shouldn't be coop in skyrim, but jesus that agression came from nowhere. nowhere did he state that he was having any difficulty at all. He just wants to play with his friends, presumably with the difficulty scaling. his problem is he wants someone to talk to while he's going around questing, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I might enjoy that, even if thats not nessessarily what skyrim is about.

CoD must be more challenging then.

I, for one, prefer my ES experience to be a solitary one. I barely even take followers, usually just dogs (the barking doesn't bother me nearly as much as follower dialogue). However, I do realize that many people now enjoy chatting with friends while playing, and I'm sure these people would appreciate a coop feature of some type. Lol, people try to talk to me all the time while I play and I have to tell them very politely that they are interupting my game and breaking my immersion into the world. Lately, I've taken to just playing offline to avoid mod issues and avoid people, so I can play in peace. LOL It may well be a generation issue. The latest generation is very into chatting and social media, not saying it's a bad thing, but it does perhaps contribute to their different needs out of games. Or, perhaps the OP has more of an MMO background, which is more of a social gaming experience. Or, perhaps the OP just wants to quest with a friend. No, Skyrim doesn't have that function, and as others have said, ESO will give you that sort of option. I Beta tested it since last summer. I am not a social person and the game wasn't for me, however, if you do like a more social atmosphere, it may be something for you to consider. Hahaha, I'm so anti-social that I even shun house mods with extra npcs. Lydia gets on my nerves and will often go to Boethia if I'm playing a Daedric lover. I'll tolerate kids cause they bring me saber cat teeth and hagraven claws, but that's it.

I don't think I'd like multiplayer Skyrim, I can't concentrate on multiplayer stuff, just gets confusing and I do silly things like fall off cliffs and get yelled at. That said, I think it would be quite cool if you could 'meet up' with a friend's character in the Bee and Barb or the Winking Skeever and share a bottle of Alto Wine.

And, yeah, nobody said anything about wanting multiplayer because the game's too hard, is that really the only reason you can think of why somebody might want to play with somebody else??

Oki appreciate your comments most of you, but difficulty wasnt the issue since i'd just run away from anything i think i cant handle to shouldnt be poking right now, but its only just a little only ever so slightly boring running around soloing, but at the same time i do enjoy it as well, just im used i to playing more in groups or teams, like in gw1+2 neverwinter, i also beta tested eso and like that quite a bit, , but thanks for all your comments just wanteed to how the general pop thought about it ^^ o.o .. ty
DecayWolf Mar 27 @ 5:51am
gw2 was probably the worse mmo that I ever played...
if you're playing on normal, you could solo almost anything from the very beginnig, if you're playing on legendary same as above, but you'll need a companion, and use strategy very often.
Until of course you become over powered, and the game doesn't offer any challenge anymore.

Elder Scrolls made by Bethesda (ignoring Zenimax and ESO) are meant to be single player experiences, and designed for people who want just a single player experience (like me ^_^).

As such, it is a decidedly non co-op game (which should be obvious since it is not listed as multi-player anywhere >.<)

Just like how other games are designed for multi-player experiences, and should not have single player components put in. It ruins the experience :P
