actually running allows you to take short cuts etc etc etc...

fast travel must take you distinct routes... but even if you ran the distinct route the fast travel would take you.. i think ffast travel adds on an hour or two more...

Good answer for when Inigo asked: "Why do you run everywhere?"

Yep running passes less game time, especially once you start using your shout to propel you forward, or mods etc.

However as I have a life, fast travel is needed.....also later on if you use fast travel alot, you will notice using if for some reason generates a lot more dragon attacks than not using it.

Usually in the places where you would not want them to occur, like in the middle of Riften.
Grr...

Or Markarth..which is 'safe from dragon' attacks...then again..that Jarl seems to be in...a bit of denial about everything...

That was one of the hardest places to fight a dragon because it was hard to get a good vantage point for arrows and not a lot of room for the dragon to land.

I guess the same could be said for riften, though...lol

The calculations are such that Fast Travel will take *less* time pretty much everywhere - there are mods that *increase* the time FT takes to bring it more in-line with walking.
