My Mega Noob-Ness And Save Files..??
I am planning on getting a better performing PC at the end of the year.

(A) So, is my save files from my main Skyrim folder the only thing I need to transfer over all of my game progress?

(B) Also, is uploading my save files to Google Drive and then downloading those to my new PC going to work as well as using a USB stick?

B should work.

regarding A, if you modified your game in any way.. like edited the skyrim-ini // skyrimprefs.ini files of skyrim you also need to save these and copy/paste them into the corresponding folders on your new pc.

What Medra said, just to add, I believe if you are subscribed to a mod on Steam those should transfer automatically. If you use nexus mod manager, then it has a button which will produce a txt file listing all your current mods, which is very handy to use as a checklist, especially if you have some mods downloaded but not active.
