[May contain spoiler!] Talos amulet, can't find out what's wrong.
Hello,

I've a problem since quite a while now: Talos amulets are counted as quest item and I'm unable to remove them.
I noticed later that they were, when I needed to drop a few of them into a chest (I have 3 on my inventory, they're just wasting 2 weight points).. This bug is also blocking me from the creation of a Talos Sanctuary in my heartfire's house.

I thought the cause could be the markarth's quest given by the Thalmor (about the old skald that they want to condemn), so I finished the quest but the problem is still here.
All other quests are generic, both major and minor (from guilds, daedras, DLCs), and I still have to complete the main quest and I didn't decide yet the faction to help in the war.

If the bug is not related to any quest, how could I remove it?

PS: The game is patched until the latest OFFICIAL patch, I'm going to install the community patch at the end of this savegame, when I start a new character.

If i remember right thats something to do with Rogvir. The man they execute in Solitude. You can find more info on UESP .

mmmh I remember that guy... but I can't understand why should he be involved in MY amulets... there's not even a quest related to him apparently, or at least not yet... Maybe he had an amulet in his body.. that could've bugged all of them?..

Going to check UESP (anyway I need to check another thing too, so perfect timing).

I learned yesterday that there is, indeed, an actual quest "find a talos amulet for X" associated with it, previously I assumed it was maybe because of the MQ. Can't remember who, but I think previous poster is right, it's someone in Solitude related to Roggvir.

It's Greta at Addvar and Greta's house.

Find the little girl in Solitude, she is one of three kids running around, her name start with S, she'll say I don't feel like talking.

There is a mod that turns the marker off all quest items. this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8409/?

Yes, Svari, Greta's daughter. The amulet goes to Greta, though.

Thanks for all responses! :)
I checked UESP and yes, it confirmed about Greta.. What I can't understand is why I still have to complete this quest (that I have yet to take, even...). I talked with Svari, I clearly remember her.. I'll go Solitude again and check again the girl and see what I was left or how I skiped it without noticing..

If you took a Talos amulet off Roggvir's corpse, I think it will trigger the quest. Because that's the one the woman wants.

I was up to around 20 talos amulets before I finnished the quest. I just happened to talk to the girl. There was no quest marker so I had forgotten what to do. I have had several quest that had no markers or were incorrectly mark. Sometimes it fixes itself sometimes not. As long as my game doesn't crash I am happy.

The main reason it happens is because you take the amulet before your asked to get it, and as the amulets stack in your inventory they all become stuck untill you complete the quest. Roggvir's Amulet is a quest item. ;)

Exactly, it happens for many other items aswell.. they could do in a way to only block the correct quantity of items... having plenty heavy items stuck in your inventory because you need to give one for a quest is annoying... I try to avoid picking similiar items up at all, when I have a quest involving normal items, due to this...

20 amulets... that's 20 less weight... and it's a lot!

EDIT: the name in the quote has been censored...??

As far as i know quest items are weightless, but i don't how that works when there stacked, but the stack maybe weightless because of the quest item, really not sure about it though. Oh the nick, ummm google translate, German -> English might help you there. ;)
I'm not German tho, i just think it looks good, and besides it's what i call all the characters i've played in skyrim but there i use the English version.

Quest items have no weight in your inventory. Go ahead strip down to zero inventory and only quest items. See if you have weight.
